I will have a chat with the guy who silently engaged. I apologise for his actions.

In regards to other points that were brought up, allow me to ask. What's so bad in avoiding charging a torp Eagle with a shieldless Bayonet? What is so bad in neutralising a torp/mine spamming fighter with CDs? I don't see anything wrong with these actions.

My amount of spamming cannot be compared to the amount of spamming from the bayonet. I was spammed so much, I could not make a turn. I shoot a torp every 2 passes and I am not using mines if its not needed. Just so you guys know. Anyways. You and hackers are the same. You people avoid RP with the lawfuls for some unknown reason. You just turn tail and cruise away. Try changing that please.

I was on the Bayonet. I were under fire continously through Cortez, Magellan and part of Manchester. One is not required to drop any engagement lines if he/she is already engaged by the enemy. I were free to return fire at any moment I deemed fit.

The Bayonet was not the only one firing CDs, the Anaconda contributed to it as well.

Lastly, you engaged me almost immediately. I stood no chance versus four to six fighters (I am not aware of the exact number of Crayterian ships escorting the convoy), so I left. I apologise for not being able to RP under fire. I'll try to do better next time.

I've flown as a GG some time ago and it was a pretty fun experience. RPing inside and from the outside is quite fun too. I've been keen on seeing the more scientific side to Gaians though ... My comment would be to make it even more clear of who the GG are through your actions. I even struggle with it but a good point can be made that when your actions explain for you who the Gaians are, then you are going in the right direction.

Then again, perhaps I've just not been paying attention and you guys are doing your job right Smile

I'd like to direct your view onto your goals:

Quote:Short Term

の Elimination of Gaian Wildlife trade.
の Hindering the operations of Planetform, BMM and Orbital Spa and Cruise.
の Disruption of deforestation attempts on Yuma.
の Destabilisation of the Commonwealth of Liberty.
の Defense and expansion of Gaian influence in Bretonia and beyond.

Long Term

の Taking over the Edinburgh system.
の Forming a strong network of allies and proxies throughout the sector.
の Sirius-wide abolishment of the monetary system and implementation of a resource-based economy.
の Abolishment of current governments and unification of Sirius and Gallia under a single rule.

Side Goals

の Hindering slave trade within Bretonia.
の Combating Nomad and Wilde incursions into Bretonia.
の Research of artifacts and nomadic materials to develop and further a technological advantage over hostile organisations.

Some of the short-term goals seem to be more like long-term ones.... would it? How would you in a short period of time destabilize liberty?
How would you in a short time expand in infulence beyond Bretonia?

Your Longterm goals seem to be more rather short term ones:
- You can make a network of allies relatively quick.
- You can take over Edinburgh ... at least part of it... faster than some of your short term goals.

I would as a side note be curious about the slave trade in Bretonia. I dont really see it pass through there.

Anyway, in general I do like the faction. Keep it up!

I'm posting this to announce and let it be known that TheSauron has given me permission to take temporary control of the Guard during his time away. My goal during this time is to help generate activity and do my best to bring the faction back from the dead.

I have no designs on making changes to the Factions' mission statements, reps, diplomacy, ect. but from this moment on, until further notice, I will be handling all new comm traffic addressed to the faction and all new member recruitment.

If I succeed in my goal of expanding the faction roster, I aim to share those responsibilities with other members that we add to our ranks, because we can't survive as a one man show.

The buck stops with me, so I also hereby take responsibility for the actions of the Guard members and will do my best to fix any & all issues as they arise.

Lastly, My door is always open. I welcome and invite any questions, comments, gripes or complaints in order to make the faction better animal.

Thank You.

Can I ask why you are doing everything to get hostile with the Corsairs?

In an engagement consisting of Corsairs and GRN versus BAF, LN, BHG and other assorted mess, one of your pilot thought it would be incredibly clever to start shooting the GRN. That immediately dragged our fire onto him.

I understand that while Custodi might not be official, we still have our own diplomacy and this is the second incident where GG is doing whatever they can to fall down to hostile.

Yes, I found it incredibly clever to shoot at one of our enemies while they were battling another. I can also counter you with the very same argument, as Custodi supporting the Royal Navy is just asking to fall down to hostile on our diplomacy sheet.

Besides, I am not aware of what the other incident you implied was. Could you please inform me of it?
