The only time you'd ever need clarification is if you deliberately ignore prior rules which inform you what 'dead' means. So no, if you're 'dead' you may not return. If you're a trader that docked under fire, you're not 'dead'. Like I said in the last thread, this really isn't difficult.
Read the entire section from start to end. Not hard.
