I ParentsMother - Mizore Shikizumi (Asagami) Mizore Asagami is known poet. Rather to say Mizore Asagumi was the known poet in the past. All of her well known works were written during the her young ages. Young poetess became popular immediately, but even in the youth the situation was not so simple. Her popularity was quite specific which is has to be noted. Asagami was never popular in the broad masses and it looks like she never will be. Instead of it she became popular in the in the circles of poets, literary critics, various artists, expert community and 'professional' connoisseurs of art. There have been many explanations to this 'phenomenon', but all of it was verbiage and senseless.
The fact remains that, even after wide promotion in the media Asagami's poems did not reached the soul of the ordinary Kusarin citizen. Her popularity started to slowly fade away. And only after a few years fashion for her poems passed like any other fashion in 'elite society'. All her life Mizore could not understand what went wrong. In spite of everything she continued to write and writes to this day. Her life was not tarred, but was coerced by this circumstance. After her popularity dawnfall she used to kept pretty immoral lifestyle. However eventually resigned, yes she still have disadvantaged vanity, but she learned to contain her emotions and behave with dignity.
Father - Toshio Shikizumi Native of the planet Honshu Toshio Shikizumi was medium, but ambitious manager. This is a very controversial person, but he himself never had any doubt that he's rightness. Coming from an ordinary family, he wished to achieve great heights. Whole his life he was loyal to his little company Asatsuyu, the closest partner of one of the two Kusarian giants, Samura Heavy Industries. And after a number of years of selfless work he waste his chances and slowly gave the way to a new generation. And that happend, his appointment to the home planet Honshu and formal duties was a very severe impact to the Toshio's ego. He had a very little contact with his family until that moment, it will be not exaggeration to say that he met his daughter only after this appointment.
Toshio is a complicated man all of his life he worked hard to provide his family with all that is necessary at the same time he is absolutely do not care about feelings of the others. This combination of physical altruism and emotional egoism extremely difficult affect his relationship with his family. In addition to it he have rigid patriarchal beliefs, dictatorial nature and steadfastness in his own right. Over time, his view of the world and the people around him became increasingly distorted.
This man tried to make his far-right ideas to life, he never had an opportunities to influance the politics or society. The only way to bring it to life was and is his lifestyle. He is the member of many local traditional organisations, most of them was formed affter desposing of the Emperor Kogen. However because of his natural cowardice he does not take participation in any actions accompanied though even little risk. Toshio Shikizumi still living and working at Honshu, nothing noteworthy.
II ChildhoodMinori Shikizumi was born at eight o'clock in the morning. The birth went fast and without any complications. Planned childbirth scheduled to take place on the planet Kyushu few days after, however fate decreed otherwise and childbirth had to take on the Tsushima depot instead. Minori was and is the only child in the family. Father wanted a boy and from the moment when he learned that the gender of the child is not male his relationship to his wife and daughter turned to indifference. For that reason, despite the recommendations of the doctors Mizore was on Tsushima for so long, just helping him with the work.
Like all children, she had her small peculiarities, but this is not necessary to mark, because there was nothing particularly outstanding. As she grew older, I found that there is much less freedom than other children do. Her father established a lot of strict and nonsensical rules . The Toshio himself appeared not too often but even from far distance he ruined life of his daughter.
Minori of course with the naive child cunning violated rules and managed to hide it from her parents. Communication with other children, nevertheless, was rather limited, but it was quite enough to satisfy minimum needs of the fellowship. At early years she could not cope with the school curriculum, but eventually began to study well.
III AdolescenceTime passed and the rules established by her was father more and more in contradicting with common sense. Minori was not a difficult teenager, but the circumstances in which she was put in was simply forced to conflict. Unfortunately, however, any attempt to arrange the situation had failed. Minori did not expressed dissatisfaction with the active, prefers to insinuate. She carefully continued to do things on her own way. It could not continue for that long. After the first catch the control over Minori was significantly increased.
The conflict between parents and Minori gained intensity step by step. As the result, slowly but confidently she began to hate them. She kept it all inside because of fear, but she affirmed in this feeling every day. This people just stole her life. They decided what she have to wear, eat, drink. They which persons she have to like and which is not. They decided how she has to spend her time. They even decided how she has to speak and move. And of course they decided her future.
However nothing can break the will of the person who wish not to be broken.
IV In betweenMinori left her home when she was 16. It was not goofy running away from home, it was thoughtful and balanced decision. Of course it was not easy and required great strength of will. She left after her friends offered her a job that will cover the costs of a separate life. The work was hard, but Minori felt happy and quickly got used to it. She was not the kind of person who dreamed of bright future so she quietly worked day to day. Her parents still tried to impact on her life, but gladly they had no any of influence points anymore. They tried to bring her back, but instead they just alienated her even more. A few years later she already has sufficient experience and moves to New Tokyo where she sign up for pilot training. She have learned that work in the space used to be several times more dangerous but bring quick credits.
Trainings went well enough, Minori was not the talanted pilot, but she did not reflect any complexity during the course of study. Her first 'Stargazer' she recived from company Midori&Megumi according to the contract, this ship did not become her property, but she got the opportunity to work.
Many private companies were participated in Tau war, performing lucrative military contracts. However, not so many civilian pilots were going at such deadly deals, the potential risk was greater than expected profits. It was mainly work for young and ambitious pilots who looked for quick money and adventures. All of them usually knows that death will be near, but everyone believes that it will happen to someone else.
And Minori was one of this young pilots. She never used to be in the real fight before, maybe if she did she would change her mind. But the decision was made and the entered the long term escort contract right behind the front line. Her parents knew about it and tried to stop her, but got boorish and rude response. It is her life and only she will decide what she has to do with it.
Most of the time Minori worked in the rear escorting supply convoys for the Kusarian Naval Forces. She saw how destructive the war is, but she still got lucky enough to not enter any combat zone. She still saw the active Bretonian and later Gallic warships only in the news like other ordinary Kusarians.
Minori's convoy was trapped in Bretonia with the part of Kusarian forces after Kusari government withdrew military forces from Tau systems. Kurkawa Katsunosuki, the leader of Minori's convoy and the colonel Yasuda Hokusai of Kusari Naval Forces had decided to swear allegiance to the Republic and return to Kusari. Unfortunately, they have been identified as illegal armed group and was attacked by Royal Navy barrage units. The fight did not last long, remains of the convoy retreated back in Bretonia. Minori's ship was hit and blown up to pieces, but she managed to survived. Her rescue pod was picked up, she was the only person from the convoy who was taken as the captive.
V BeyondMinori Shikizumi was unconscious for 6 days, 14 hours and 37 minutes. All of this time she was granted with the basic medical care. At first was diagnosed only fracture of arm and two ribs, multiple bruises and hematomas. Intricate internal bleeding was discovered a few days later and was a unpleasant surprise for the doctors. She continued to lose blood after such a shock, and probably was close to death for the second time.
Minori was saved for a second time, pilots and doctors performed their duty well. On the following day after she back to consciousness she went for interrogation. Interrogated agreed to collaborate immediately, but could not tell even the basics about herself.
Experienced investigators saw for sure that she do not lying when saying that Minori don't even remember who she is. She was aimed at further medical examination, the diagnosis was obvious, but nevertheless investigative committee had to make sure that it is not the simulation. And it was not the simulation, doctors confirmed the diagnosis of retrograde amnesia, the cause of which is likely was a head injury.
Minori had her ID so it was decided to just send her back home. The Kusarian Authorities was informed in 2 weeks. The answer came quick and it was straightforward. Minori Shikizumi was in the 'Killed in action' list and her kusarian Neural Net accout was dissabled. Her parents also refused to take her home referring to the fact that she is not their daughter, she do not even know who they are.
Minori asked the permission to offer her service as an employee for Gallic companies and private individuals. To live and work in Gallia she had to pass both knowledge of the laws and the basic language examinations. Until that moment her movement was limited. She was learned fast, learned fast to start a new life, all from beginnig. Exams were passed and she worked as she used to work in Kusari. After a few month she was adapted to the new reality.
After a few years her memory slowly started to recover, but they was incredibly washed-out and distant comparing to current environment, there was nothing to tied her with her old memories anymore.
