I think its time you give me a straight answer. You want to make sure your sister is safe, and while I have the utmost faith in your abilities on your own, you and I both know you'd benefit from protection. We can have a safehouse prepped at the location of your choice, and a C-1 security team can be provided. In addition, you'd be considered an Operative in the Initiative.
I've not betrayed you yet, and I don't intend to, as much as you'd like to call me a turncoat terrorist, I still care about my House and my friends. You fall under both of those.
So i'll spare the pleasantries. You finally decided to call me, i was starting to wonder if someone had caught up and blown your brains out. - But i couldn't allow that. If anybody in this messed up world puts a round in the back of your head, it's going to be me. However as my options are limited and your offer seems the only one that doesn't involve a raging firefight - for now. I'm willing to accept this offer and apply my abilities in intelligence and tactical operations to this cause. However i have one, singular, condition.
My sister is kept out of the conflict. I do not want her young mind saturated in bloodshed and my sole aim among protecting the nation i cherish, is protecting one of my few family members i have left. While i agree this is for a good cause, she's far too young and fragile to be exposed to such. I'm sure you'll agree. Having been reunited with my vessel, i think it's about time we drop the hammer on any and all threats to this nation. For once our goals align, this is something i never did expect.
Anyway. I'll be waiting to hear from you, namely where i can take my sister and so i can introduce you to my ship. Yes. I want you to decide this. You always were cunning.
This sounds foolish, i know, however you'll probably understand when the time comes that i don't talk to a ship and get no reply like some insane psychopath. No. There is reason and motive, as you shall soon see.
I have, nor have I ever had, any intention of involving her in this line of work. Its unsafe for ourselves, let alone civilians. However, she will remain guarded by four of our best. Specifically, Ex-Navy Marine and West Point teacher, Colonel Douglas Kovic. He's got the mind and experience to keep her safe, and to stay at a distance to avoid distorting her life. As for a location, it'll have to be somewhere clear of war, risk and discovery. Definitely not the fleet or the main outpost, once its established.
I'm thinking, we set up a safehouse on the Outskirts of New Hope West. Colonial territory, mostly ice. She can blend with them there. Unless you have a better idea. Other than that, we can discuss a meeting in private, and relocation.
