Other than the nodock repack with mining factions and the default red with nommies, wild, and admins, I don't think the Miner ID should have as many rephacks as it does. Sure, you can restart with it and be hostile to a few people, but I think it would encourage roleplay if Miner IDs could work for people like the Corsairs and steal ores from Kruger and BMM mining fields. It would also help with the roleplay around getting huge ships for small factions. Although this would be a clear buff to an already versatile ID, I think it would help it show up in systems besides Pennsylvania.

Personally i think it would be good.
Would be nice if the ID got some generic buffs (yet not so much that it is close to the others).
It would make it cool to actually have unlawful miners, As it stands the only thing you can do for this kind of RP is to get an ID specialized for a certain unlawful faction.

If we take a quick look at the Mining Buffs:

The only Viable mining options for a Generic Miner are Helium and Iridium (removed).
It would be nice along with the rep hack to make it so it is actually possible to mine with this ID on certain goods while making it so the specialized factions still have the advantage. Things like making it so i can mine for unlawful is great RP.

Edit: To add - The only decent unlawful bonus goes to Junkers.
