Could you clarify a cluster missile/bomb. Is it like multiple bombs/missiles shot at one time?

It is possible. There is a gun type with 5 barrels, meaning 1 shot from this shoots five shots. If you fire a missile with this gun archtype, it will appear as if they are only one missle, but there are actually 5 of them close together (and uses up 5 missiles) But unfortunately sometimes they don't move, or explode against each other shortly after firing and cause massive damage to you.

Would be easier to just make a missle, call it 'cluster bomb' and give it a regular missile archtype.

You can have guns with 1,000 barrels if you wish, though the number of projectiles it would fire at once would probably kill the server.
If you want dumbfire missiles (Aka rockets) then that is a simple way of doing it. A missile effect, mutiple barrels on the gun and an explosion effect for the hit effect.
Simple, effective and works.

Only issue is that if you were to say, put 10 of these on a battleship and they each fired 10 missiles, you would probably rape all fighters and bombers.
Of course, that's perfectly fine (And is infact, very very close to the idea of Flak) since the weapons would be very ineffective over range, making the battleship extremely vulnerable.

All the same, interesting idea that is possible and would be easy enough to do.

but it doesnt split at the mid air and attack the target at different angle..

Er, unlikely. You COULD give it a fast velocity coming out of the gun so that it goes a fair distance before say, tracking, kicks in. Effectively meaning it flies out then turns to hit the target. If the gun had barrells at the right angles, you could have missiles hitting a ship from all directions almost.

But in the server even the slightest lag will throw off the tracking, It would have to cover 10k (distance) in 2 seconds to make it operation without issue.

Miring Warheads would be quite difficult for many reasons but you can change the missile mounts firing position i'm not sure if it would launch the missiles from each port though, ....*facepalm* duh yea it can.

Ah if you want to have it hit a target from all sides you would have to program each missile to have different delay times. But I don't think that's possible using just one Mount. You can put 4 into one HPmount but that leaves complex issues from mount and unmounted. Ether way this is something that has to be tried out and tested over and over again before implemented in the Server.

This sounds a lot like the old swarm pods, and that really didn't work out so well... With the amount of players this server has now, something like this would be like everyone firing off a full load of a BS missle's, at once, every 5 seconds.
