SUBJECT: Prohibition of transportation of people with specific ID cards series

Guten Tag, this is announcement to all individuals and organizations involved in transportation of legal human cargo in space of Bundesrepublik Rheinland as well as to all law enforcing authorities.

Due to ongoing investigation concerning large scale production of forged ID cards manufactured for dubious use by possible criminals and terrorists, federal polizei declares temporary prohibition of space transportation of people with specific ID cards series because these must be detained, interrogated and their ID cards physically verified. Companies and individuals which transport legal human cargo can easily check if their customers did not prove their identity with these ID cards by using scanners with recent mandatory security update, signature RFP-defender-ver1604-IDcheck, which was issued last week. ID cards of passangers which are not allowed to be transported anywhere until further notice will display this warning icon:

All ships caught within Rheinland space with these people aboard have to be detained and suspicious passangers will be confiscated in space if ship of law enforcement authority suitable for their transportation is available. Alternatively, detained transport ships may be either returned to the spaceport where they loaded these passangers or to the nearest station or planet. After that, captains of these ships are obliged to unload all marked individuals to security guards, and then undock for leaving check to make sure no suspect stayed aboard.

Federal polizei would like to remind all captains that refusal to obey orders of law enforcers to hand over suspects is violation of paragraph 2.4.1. of Article Two of Rheinland Laws - violation of orders given by law-enforcement authorities’ representatives - which may be punished by fine up to one million credits. In extreme cases, law enforcement units are authorized to use necessary force. If such event happens, responsibility for any possible injuries of passangers lies fully on uncooperative captains. Those who will somehow manage to escape or will not undock for leaving check will be added to Rheinland Criminal Database and treated accordingly when caught in Rheinland space again, including recovery of fine with respective additional entry removal fee.
