After hearing from several sources on skype that its apparantly "against the rules" to change the sound of the cloak, i wondered if its actually true.
Admin green or anything would be appreciated here.

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

It's not against the rules to alter sound or texture files etc. (see: swag pack, Dii's sound mod).

It's against the rules to edit inis though.

Didn't touch any .ini, but since I use your package, Operator, did you? Big Grin

·Copy this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKkUCNMrv1M or any other sound you feel is suitable for cloaking.
·Convert here http://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/mp3-converter to a .wav file.
·Download the file and rename it to jumpdrive_survey.wav
·Paste the file to Disco folder - DATA - AUDIO - SOUNDS - ENGINES.
·Enter the game and enjoy your new sound.

Strongly recommending to make a backup of the original jumpdrive_survey.wav.

I did give it the hydran red alert sound from Starfleet Command. Very fitting.

You can see it here: https://youtu.be/TE9110R6CXU?t=6m10s

As always, in super duper low quality! Big Grin

As far as I'm aware, modifying the game is A-OK so long as you don't touch any .INI files.

Someone fact-check that
