I wasted about 1GB of upload just trying to get the resolution and bitrate correct.
YouTube recommends a resolution of 640x480 but it dosn't seem to work. My video looks crappier then the standard videos I see on YouTube without enabling the HD function. And the sound goes from crap to un-bearable.
Does anyone know the optimal resolution, bitrate and codec for uploading YouTube videos with the HD function?:unsure:
"Three o'clock is always too late or too early for anything you want to do."
When i check the help-page for youtube i get this:
* MPEG4 (DivX, XviD)
* MP3-audio
* Videoresolution: 480x360 or higher
* 24 fps or faster
However i read something about "true HD" with 720 pixels of horizontal resolution (you add &fmt=22 at the end of the youtube url), but i don't know if and how that works.
