Question about the new restrictions on lawful cruisers.

Like I said in my response, it seems that the guard ID's in 4.85 have cleared this up.

You can only use up to a gunboat for most non-guard ID's, but those non-guard ID's say you can demand certain cargo or commit piracy.

For cruisers and larger, you need a guard ID, and the Guard ID's have much more strict contraband limitations (i.e. an order ID can demand artifacts/cardamine, but an order Guard ID cannot) and piracy restrictions. The criminal/pirate Guard ID's which allow cruisers and up do not say that the player is able to pirate.

But, the first time after 4.85 that I get sanctioned for using my order carrier against a trader ID'd transport carrying nomad brains who refused to give them up, there is going to be some hell on these forums =P If you're going to allow something in the ID, that is what the rules need to follow. Do not expect players to consult a ten page long rule list every time they want to perform any action other than sticking their thumbs up their butts.

Agreed on that last part.... If i dont get sanctioned for nailing a smuggler in Alaska, it'll probably be an oversight where i get sanctioned for kicking a non-Guard LN out /or destroying him for refusing.
