I would still prefer only "major" systems to be non-numbered. Makes sense. Why would you give a proper name to a system with like, a planet and maybe one depot in it.

Exactly... I for one am missing the cool number-names of some omicrons. It gives the sense of "non-explored, desolate, mysterious, dangerous" systems.

We intend to move all Omicrons to letters in the Greek alphabet instead of numbers. Tau borders the Taus, Omega borders the Omegas. Its actually pretty intuitive I think.

then why Omicron-100 is Omicron Epsilon ? why not Omicron Kusari ?

I never said Kusari is a Greek letter , Omega/Tau not the only two Greek alphabets. The reason I'm saying Omicron Omega/Omicron Tau sounds meh.
