It was eerily silent in space.

She openned her eyes slowly, and saw she was once again surrounded by the organic components of her nomad spacecraft. The warm light of the Core Star made her smile sadly. It felt very good here.
She would have stayed there forever, but her Masters' command still stood.

The Core Globe changed much since the first arrival of the Human race. From a soft land of orange soil, the human transformed it into a blue jewel with greenish continents, and added a myriad of alien lifeforms she has never seen before on any of the Creators world.

Valkyrja - that was her name, closed her eyes and visualised the world below the atmosphere. Humanity has built large cities of stone and metals... there were thousands... millions, perhaps billions of life forms on the ground, and in the air, occupied with their everyday' life, unaware they were being looked upon by a remnant of an ancient civilisation gone long ago...

All this amount of life and objects obstructed her senses; she couldn't feel the signal of the "Keys"....
She had no choice, and went forth, rendering her little craft invisible to the naked eyes...
Her entry in atmosphere on the nightside of the planet went largely unoticed - or so, people would see for a brief moment what seemed like a small meteorite... nothing too troubling. From time to time, a piece of junk from a nearby debris field would fall and enter combustion.

But anyone looking attentively would notice the combustion was burning... void.

She hid her ship somewhere in the wood of a small park - one of those few calm areas the busy human hive. Taking a small inspiration, she slowly phased out of the organic craft - but since it was still cloaked, her body seemed to appear out of thin air, as it slowly materialised next to the craft she alone could see...

And what a body it was, if any human was around to notice. It was that of a healthy young woman, somewhere between full adulthood and adolescence, well balanced muscles and weight, long and fair pale hair that looked either golden in the sun of the morning or a soft pink at dawn and a pale blue in the night. Her nudity of the moment only accentuated her beauty, and no men could possibly resist to her charm. Her eyes flashed for a brief second, as she readapted herself to the new gravity and environment, and looked around curiously.

Valkyrja, was among other things, a being that managed to evolve freely from the collective. As such, the body she appeared under wasn't merely a host; it was a bio engineered creation of hers she built in her lair, based on datas she collected on human beings - for, after analysing them a few years, she could only determine the human body was certainly much more advanced than her original physical form.
Transferring from one body to another was no mystery to the Guardians, who kept some of the incredibly advanced technologies of the Daam K'Vash.
Of course, she did some modifications to her new body, so it was more of an enhanced human body coupled with her own technologies...

Moving around hesitantly, she touched one of the large vegetation - what humans called a tree. Its surface was rough, but its natural feeling still made it comfortable to the touch, it felt real, and the wood smelled good she thought.
She began drawing symbols on the wood with her fingers, and everyone of her movement produced small spark of energy...
It wasn't long before a set of white clothings covered her, its material drawn directly from the wood.

And now... they Keys...

Or, what the first government of the Republic of Liberty dubbed "Valhalla One".
The lost library of the Daam K'Vash.
