I'm not pointing anyone. This is NOT a violation report or something like that but just a reminder.
I could also be concerned myself, don't mind you are targeted personally, that's wrong.
I would agree recently some big raids are happening in all sirius, but the raids may not have any big mistakes.
So I'm pointing here the reputation sheet mistakes.
For example, you would agree your own NPC faction helps you while you are under attack. Then, it's the same for your opponent. You may be hostile to any NPC faction you are attacking.
Also I have a tip on it. I was rushing Alpha while being almost red but still white with outcasts, then they did not fired on me.
To fix it, I had to use a torpedo to one of the npcs, and then they turned into red for the fight.
The cruise disruptor is also a good way for that fast fixing.
Any Guided projectile (missile, CD, mine, torp) will fix your reputation a really fast way.
Now about what you would get if you do not respect it :
First, the RP is not respected. On a RP server, that's not a good thing.
Second, you are not going a sportive way. Get some honorable fights, regardless you lose, enjoy your fight against your enemy and all his mates. Personally, I was hunting someone in front of manhattan, with next to me a giant fleet of outcasts. Having all outcasts on me gave me some fun ! Of course I died (and my SNAC was so close of my target:(), but the fun was there.
It would be the same sport in a guard system (did it once, pretty much for me)
Third, you will anger the admins. That thing, I don't wish you it happen. Unfortunately, the HMS-Churchill didn't get that chance : http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26768
Look at what the others did wrong to do not make the same mistakes. (Sorry akumabito but you was the only good example I had with me)
Now, avoid the punishments (that's a bad thing) and enjoy your fights;)!
NPC's are quite weird, especially when they attack your enemy (this is good:)), but then you fire a CD and then they turn and fire on you (this is bad:(). Reputation for Bounty Hunters can be a little annoying; trying to be enemies with both the Corsairs and the Outcasts, take a mission for one, the other rep goes up and vice-verca:wacko:
I see what you mean. Sometimes one of my Ships has been fighting a particular enemy for so long that another enemy of mine will suddenly become neutral or friendly the next time we meet.
This becomes a concern when PvP occurs.
If I get into battle with another player whose fellow NPCs aren't firing on me, I'll shoot a courtesy shot at an NPC to get them all red and firing on me. To not do so too OORP in my view.
