Formation of New Special Forces Group
Greetings,
It is with great pleasure, that I can begin transmission of this message. As of the most recent, the time of 0200 hours today, I have been put Nominally in charge of a new military project. Dubbed 'Landsknechte Rheinland' this initiative seeks to the the fight to the enemy beyond our nations borders. To Strike out at the Corsairs, Outcasts and Classified threats hiding in the dark of space. With the initial infrastructure in place, and the first of our patrols have begone flying on recon sorties, it is time for us to take the next step. We would like to formally request the full acknowledgement of the Rheinland Military in the execution of our duties within Rheinland, and beyond them. Of Course, the standard laws of our Republic would still apply, with the Military taking the highest legal priority during combat operations. We are fully ready to comply and assist your countrymen whenever called upon. As we are in no doubt about, the word of our Nominal formation has already reached you. Building upon that, we would like to propose the creation of a Joint Special Operations Command, for our groups to better assist each other in the field, when discretion fails and we must go to violence.
With our proposal on the table, we would like to additionally request the commissioning of one 'Donau' Class Rheinland Cruiser, to act as a Flagship, as well as the Command and Control vessel of our group in extended operations.
