No, telling us that everything will be fine and dandy in 4.85 does not mean that it is not a problem now, nor that your solution actually works because it's 4.85. This is more a whack at certain dev people, but seriously... it's just as wrong to call dibs for 4.85 as it is to claim that 4.85 will solve all these problems without having the solutions checked for gaping holes, or possibly for going against what is held as canon by practically everyone on the server. No, you aren't perfect. We aren't either. But two heads are better than one, and it is so much easier to overlook things when everyone doing the looking helped make it and/or saw it go along. It's part of the human idealism "instinct" (for lack of a better word), and virtually inescapable.
Thank you for listening (!) to this rant. Now, you have no right to tell me it will all be better in 4.85. Muahahahahaha!
