Faction Summary 派閥サマリー
One of the many factions within the Gas Miners Guild, the Taiheiyo Consortium is a rising nationalist movement that seeks to establish an independent, GMG-run House in the Sigmas with Sigma-21 as the capital. Established sometime after the Eighty Years War, the movement has started to gain significant traction after advances made by the GMG on Planet Kurile.
Their membership draws heavily from frontier spacers and House expats looking to make a name for themselves outside of civilized space and create a new home away from the decay and desperation of House space. Some among the GMG claim that former unlawful terrorists and criminals have taken up with the Taiheiyo Consortium, either looking for profit or purpose.
Thus far, they remain a relatively small section of the GMG with ambitions far greater than their membership. Like most GMG members, they still make the majority of their income gathering Helium-3 in the Crow Nebula and helping to fuel most of Sirius’s starships.
Goals 目標
• Maintain a monopoly over the Sirian H-Fuel trade. • Establish political and economic superiority over the Sigma sector. • Found a republic in the Sigmas. • Colonize Planet Saigon and developing the rest of Sigma-21. • Defend the Sigmas from unwanted elements (i.e. Outcasts, Corsairs, Samura, Kruger, and other troublemakers). • Assist allied and friendly factions in other regions. • Fund and direct the exploration and surveyance of new systems and celestial bodies.

I sincerely hope this works for you. Let me know if you want to craft some interactions in the Sigmas and I hope you manage to drum up a stable member base.
Please also add Unioners to hostile for nine reasons:
1) GMG, along with Republican, Synth and Interspace, are the Unioner's favoured prey, as the Unioners wouldn't exist in their current form if the GMG had not won the 80 Years War.
2) The Unioners consider all of the Sigma's southern triangle (Sigma 13, 15, and now 21), to be Rheinland de jure territory even if the current government stakes claim to Sigma 15 only, due to 13, 15 and 21's presence within the long-defunct Imperial border. In addition, the systems are of vital Unioner smuggling interest.
3) The Unioners believe that the 80 Years War was started by the GMG unlawfully attempting to rob Rheinland of its sovereign territorial claims under funding by wall street proxies on Liberty's behest, as part of a grand conspiracy to prevent Rheinland from monopolising too great a share of Sirius's mineral wealth.
4) The Unioners believe that no non-house-actor should hold the power to subject the taxpayers of another house to resource starvation.
5) GMG have historically assisted the Bundschuh, which has obvious implications for the Unioners.
6) The Unioners are pretty chill with the Outcasts and actively enable the Corsairs, who are your primary threats in the region.
7) The Unioners's lawful proxies are actively lobbying for 80 years war 2.0.
8) The Unioners actively help out Kruger and Daumann, neither of which are your friends. They're on non-too-shabby terms with the Hogosha as well.
9) The Unioners object to GMG robbery of what they consider to be Rheinland wargraves, and technology of Unioner/DHC native design.
Edit: You should try to get back possession of the SRP Rheinland Battleship Ayakashi Maru - I believe it came with SRP GMG battleship turrets.
