I was banned on 05/01/09 using the character SP for unintentionally having a speed mod enabled. I would like to say that this was the first time I have ever played Freelancer online, and it was a careless mistake on my part that resulted from having the mod left over from my single player game. It will not happen again.
Although I understand that the ban is 60 days for speed modding, I would like to appeal it for the reasons above.

It is stated here that unintentional cheating results in a ban of only one to two weeks as opposed to two months. I would like to start playing again as soon as possible since I found playing on the server pretty enjoyable. Would I be able to gain my account back in that time if possible, or even sooner if anyone is feeling nice.
