Can't see server... banned?

I have not been able to see the server since last night.

I checked the sanctions and I have not been banned.

My brother Defender quit his account yesterday, and I am thinking maybe he got banned somehow. But I have no clue how or why, and there is not post about him being sanctioned either. We are behind the same IP.

Didn't work. This is a recent problem.. I could see the server yesterday.

Not being able to see the server and being banned are two different issues.

(I know - I got banned once, albeit by accident during a server crash.)

If you're banned, it'll tell you that you can't access the server due to being banned.

Not being able to see the server can range from an assortment of causes - the ping rate on where you are is too high, the DNS server you're going through has updated and is still updating, the server is just plain down because some (as per what Hood was talking about) was doing bad things...

I've also had it where FLAM couldn't see the server - so I used the regular shortcut to start the game, and THEN it worked fine. Admittedly it's a pain at times, but most occassions resolve themselves within a few minutes to a few hours.
