Salutations most esteemed Council of Elders, allow me to introduce myself!

My name is Anton Naiose Tordai, a simple "Entrepreneur" if you will. I also happen to be affiliated with a fellowship of like minded individuals with whom your venerated Corsair Brotherhood appear to be having a few disagreements with of late.

To that I offer my most sincere apologies and hopefully what I say will allow me to offer some context to this communique.

In my younger years I oft traveled the length and breadth of Sirius seeking adventure and thrills but it was the route between the centre of Libertonian excess (now don't get me wrong, those Manhattanite elites are idiots, but they are idiots with deep wallets) and your home system of Omicron Gamma which had seemed to attract my attention the most. It was on my first trip in fact to the harsh yet strangely beautiful planet of Crete that I made my first fortune. Your very own chief export was instrumental in the making of this fortune that it brought me a lot of good business during my subsequent ventures and I met a wonderful assortment of colourful and aimable Cretians. I came to respect your hardiness as a people and the strength of your character. So it was somewhat of an understatement to say I was concerned to learn when returning from a recent sojourn to Northern Sirius that it had been THP| captains that had been responsible for instigating this embarrassing episode (however please note that their bluntness to enter Corsair space was borne of the good intention of spreading mutually beneficial economic prosperity to the Corsair people, but the manner in which they carried out those intentions leaves a bit of room for improvement.)

Okay enough of the revery, I'll put this bluntly.

My profits are tied directly to the reputation I have managed garner with my contacts in your sovereign space. Bad reputation means bad returns. If I am cut out of my prime trade routes I will be left derelict. I don't want to have deal with the Maltese filth (asides from being a major thorn in my local shipping operations) and the deplorable substance they call a "Main Export". Why they think themselves a economically viable Hispanic power is beyond me. I don't know the attitude of my fellow captains but mine is clear, I would rather see Corsair eminence in the Omicrons than the stain of Malta's influence spread in its place.

So this is the solution my boss has approved as a solution to this mess.

A formal trade agreement between THP| and the Corsario del Imperio.

Saludos Senor Anton,

Since our first encounter, THP have shown a disregard and lack of respect for the Corsair Empire that I find quite disturbing. Actions speak louder than words, and they all say that the men and women flying under THP have not listened to a thing I have said. Time and time again, I have warned them not to bring carriers into Omicron Gamma, and to not use or be in possesion of jump drive coordinates for Omicron Gamma. They have streched my patience to the limit, and if I had had my way with them, their carriers would be shot on entry to Gamma.

That is what your are trying to negotiate against. You're not the first to try and ask permission, yet even then, they had not the patience to wait for a reply. Your pockets may be deep, and that may be in response to indulging in the Artifact trade, but it does not make you special. There are always more smugglers keen to take a cut of credits for themselves.

So with that said, on to your offer:

• Jump services are... not the most useful to The Brotherhood, as we recently upgraded several of our own vessels with jump-drives, so that we would not be reliant on others for rapid mobility. That said, the drives are next to useless without coordinates, and so, given you were able to obtain coordinates yourselves, and that scanning for them is a tedious task, perhaps that is were you could be of assistance to the Corsair Empire
  
• Now, our smugglers and those that smuggle for us already have routes throughout Sirius, with our Artifacts reaching every corner of the houses. I don't think there's much room to improve on that.
  
• "Investment in the future of the Corsair Empire", how grandiose, but not particularly... specific, is it?

And with that discussed, I'll let you know what we are willing to... tolerate, until you prove yourselves. For starters, no more jumping into Omicron Gamma. That is not acceptable, and any ship found doing so will be destroyed on sight. You may, however, jump your carriers to Omega-55, somewhere in sector F5 would be best, where the Battleship Athos will clear you for entry into Gamma. From there, you may trade with and unload supplies on Skiros, and purchase artifacts for the return trip. Other ships, such as transports and fighters, may enter and pass through Gamma as per the usual Corsair Laws, and trade on any installation, or Crete herself. But the carriers must not stray outside this area, or, once again, they will be listed as valid target for our patrols. I have attached a small map that should explain this sufficiently.

You mentioned wanted access to the Artifacts we extract from the Malvada? That can wait. THP| have shown themselves to be unreliable and untrustworthy in almost every encounter. If you want those relics, and the fortunes that come with them, you will have to earn that. I have a few things in mind that you could do that would go a fair ways to earning this trust, but they are still being discussed with the Council of Elders. In the mean time, I encourage you to... innovate. Surprise me, if you wish, and not just by throwing more goddamn carriers into Gamma....
