From: Detective Sarah Walker To: 5th Fleet Subj: Joint Emergency Channel
Greetings.
Due to recent events, I really think we need some form of coordination when it comes to threats in Liberty. Recently commander James of the 5th|LNS-Phoenix and myself found ourselves boxed in by criminal elements in New York.
Despite our attempts to contain the threat, the enemy managed to come on top due to numbers and cooperation. What I am proposing is creating a direct channel between naval officers and police officers who find themselves in similar situations.
We have the Disc-0-RD network ready to make such channel. The Emergency frequency will be a good addition in case of enemy incursion as well, as our officers will be able to respond faster to threats, and the naval pilots will be able to offer assistance when threats are too big to handle by the police.
Let me know if you would approve of such channel and I will assist you with our LPI servers on One Police Plaza.
That would be all.

Greetings, Detective Walker.
The situation you are describing has occured several times, before I signed up for the Navy and during my whole career. I am surprised and confused alike, that noone ever has thought about a longer lasting Joint-Task-Force between the Liberty Navy and the Liberty Police Inc., as well as there hasn't yet been a channel set up for such purpose.
The more I am delighted to see a motivated and determined Officer taking her work so serious to come up with this idea.
The Liberty Navy's 5th Fleet approves to setting up this Joint Emergency Channel. Especially since the effeciency of both of your and our pilots can be increased by calling assistance when needed. Often enough criminals find a way to escape on stations by overwriting the docking sequence code, likely thanks to Lane Hacker technology and the Liberty Navy is literally powerless, compelled to watch them escape so easily. With Police Officers assisting us, such docking sequences can be denied, distrupting the criminal's plan A.
As well as we are aware of capital ship sized criminal individuals and greater gatherings who are too big and too many to be handled by the Police alone. The 5th Fleet's duty is as well to enforce the Liberty law within the republic's territory and assure peace and order, as well as assisting the Police Officers in fulfilling this task.
I suggest sending the 5th Fleet an encrypted link to said channel, once set up, to make it as hard as possible for curious ears, to find a way in.
From: Officer Sarah Walker To: 5th Fleet Subj: Joint Emergency Channel
Evening.
I am glad to see this idea sounds good and it is approved. As for the lack of such channel, it is indeed a mystery I have yet to uncover.
The One Police Plaza servers are up and ready, the channel frequency is set and I will share it with you via personal message, just to keep it between us, and safe from hacking.
The Emergency Channel Frequency had been shared between our officers already through our Disc-0-RD network.
I do hope this will mean a better way for both Liberty Police and Liberty Navy's 5th Fleet to coordinate and respond faster to ever growing threats.
Thank you for your cooperation, and thank you for your service.
Signed, Detective Sarah Walker, Vice Unit, New York Precinct.
