Imagine my shock when I turned on the secure neural net interface today. After weeks of fruitless searches, combing the sector up and down for any glimmer of information - we were almost ready to assume the worst. Not that you aren't known for resurfacing from seemingly hopeless situations, that is. No, quite the contrary. It seems that every now and then you take us for on a wonderful and exciting new adventure of 'Where did Enma Loyola Go'. And believe me, it -is- fun, not just time and resource consuming. But I digress.
We're just very glad that you're all right. All of us here at the Commune. I'm sure Nomak would be the first one telling you this, but he appears to be indisposed at the moment. But I'm certain there will be time for pleasantries later. Right now, it'd be prudent to return to working on solutions for the 'Malta Issue' as soon as possible.
Oh and, congratulations on your new Gallic citizenship. I'd be lying if I said I saw that coming. It's surreal; Almost like they're holding you as a political prisoner and feeding you lines to say at press conferences. Funny thought.
PS: If they are, don't reply to this communique. Delete it too. We'll figure it out from there.

Hola.
I can appreciate your efforts to find me. For sure this will not be forgotten and I am glad that our friendship was once again backed by actions. Makes me wonder why Nomak is not contacting me directly, is he alright?
As for our plans, everything remains in power. Can you rejoice me with some new about your progress or money of my family were spent in vain? What kind of actions are you expecting from me?

Oh, you know Nomak. Always courting danger in deep space, ever forward in the name of the Light. He really is relentless. Sometimes disappears for days on end. But I wouldn't worry about him. He always turns up, sooner or later.
And regarding your money, I think you'll be pleased to learn that it's being used to prop ourselves up and to pave the way for our return to Maltese politics. Well, as pleased as you can reasonably be with other people spending your hard earned money, that is. It came particularly in handy in securing the support of some of the more undecided Maltese powers. A good bribe opens many doors, as I'm sure you already know.
But it's up in the air, when it's all said and done. True power resides in things far greater and far more illusive than money. Your influence, and your family's influence is that true power. The Loyola name is an old one. A respected one. If you keep rallying your family's supporters, and secure an alliance between them and our supporters, Malta would be as good as ours. The profligates in power would have to step down once everything aligns against them.
We will double our efforts in the coming months. Our intelligence operatives will hide in plain sight. We will implant doubts and sow discontent, all with a smile and a nod. A house divided against itself cannot stand. And this house is long overdue to fall. But to succeed, we must have coordination. Light willing, if everything goes to plan, we shall restore the proper way of things before this year is done.

C'est très bien.
I will let my mother know, since she was quite sceptical about the whole idea. After all, I am only a second person in my familia and things are not that easy as they used to be. She's less impulsive than me, which is actually for good.
Anyway, I have discussed everything with senor Nomak in details and hope that you will act according to the plan. I will have to study things a bit more before I involve myself openly. I hope you understand that stepping into the same swamp for the third time is at least not pleasing. Especially counting the fact that I almost drawn for the first two times.

I think your fears of drowning in this proverbial swamp will be assuaged by knowing that we'll always be there to pull you out. Besides, it'll only be for a short while. Small sacrifices for great rewards, the greatest of which is doing the right thing, both for yourself and your people.
