The Commune

By the good word of Temporary's ambassador Rakham I was lead to believe that a entity called Jared Nomad had made a threat towards Zoners, or at very least Freeport 11. Call me bit skeptical considering I had not heard any cries of assistance directed to anyone whom cares as it ussually happens during such times. Either way, you can make your case of what you know here.

Nomak is an outlaw and terrorist who found shelter on Freeports, the Eleven included as well as various radicalized Outcast groups. For once, it is in our common interest to kill him as it seems. We, The Order, had quite a history with this bunch... ever at war when his group of hedonistic misfits flew under banner of 'Sammara' - an alleged lost homeworld of theirs. They do not posess capital ships and are not great in number. This sect had survived numerous attempts of The Order's entire might to crush them, only for portion of them emerge months later at another location. Analogy to cockroaches is fitting here.

We require all intelligence concerning whether threat is genuine, including confirmation whether their nuclear threat is not an empty promise. I was notified that this bugger had made friends with 'The Vagrants' and that they are co-operating on both tactical and strategical level. Wedjat knows him as free agent working for Nomads out of his own beliefs, which makes him far more dangerous than your typical Wild slave... However if there is any evidence to the contrary, we would like to know. Anything you provide may come useful in exposing the truth and perhaps urging the National Council into taking any sort of action to fully eradicate his cult from Malta's soil, towards which I will lend my political leverage.

The Information you have received from my esteemed ally in the TAZ is correct.
It was me who gave out the order for the members of the Confederation to contact our respective allies.

I will get you the logs of my "conversation" with Nomak as soon as i am able but i will give you a run down to what this individual did.

i had left Freeport 11 to return to Livadia Ship yard, but i was not aboard my Carrier the Kaldra, i was piloting my personal Eagle as the Kaldra had left ahead of me whilst i finshed off some Administrative tasks aboard the station. I was intercepted by Nomak en route to the Omicron Kappa Jumphole. As he approched me he was flanked by Nomad fighter craft, but rather then attack him or me, they seemed to stay their weapons. Nomak stated the nomads were listening for his Order, and that he spoke for them. I was surrounded by them it was obvious if i didnt at least listen to Nomak i would of been smeered across time and space.

So, i listened, and to cut a long story short, what he wanted was for me to try and get the Confederation and its members to renounce all connection to the other factions in Delta, The Order being one such faction. In return a "chance" of peace would be granted with him speaking for the Nomads, he would offer their protection over the Freeport and that the Nomads would no longer attack us nor the station.

All he gave me was his "word" and his "guarantee" and that the fact i hadn't been killed should be proof enough as to his intentions. Towards the end of the conversation a Nomad Marduk appeared, at which point the others seemed to grow more agitated though that's when Nomak "allowed" me to leave.

As you can imagine the moment i brought this up with the Confederation members it was met with the correct amount of Logic and that no such deal could ever be followed through.

I have since been in contact with Nomak and have stated that our answer is no, but i fear that the answer will not go down well, considering he has threatened the freeport with an NEMP in the past and does seem to maybe hold some sort of sway over the Nomads that are refereed to as "the Vagrants".

Once i can i will get you the Communications logs. My Eagle is at livadia however and i am presently at Gran Canaria.

the fact you know of this Nomak is a relief and i hope i can call upon the Order support.

The Commune

I find this offer of theirs... ironic.

Nevertheless I arrived in Omicron Delta to investigate matters myself. No sight of Commune, the usual filth in shape of Core-aligned punks and other mercenaries. I digress however. Nomads and Das Wilde made their move again, briefly after some incident involving a retired Order personnel (not carrying our flag no more, mind you) and Sirius most kitsch celebrity Enma Loyola. In case your folk haven't forwarded you the neccesary information, here is the relevant scan. If you follow The Order Protectorate articles, I am pretty sure you know this is not an isolated incident. If you ask me, this "Guildmistress" is a trouble and possible informal link towards Commune.

I pressume you still do not have any clarification concerning whether Commune has any number of NEMP weapons in the posession but given their nature they would not be laying all of their cards for us to see. Furthermore, I ask for evidence pertaining Maltese warship M.N.S. Shadow which by hearsay was apparently involved on side of the Commune in an engagement against non-Zoner civilian craft in Omicrons. We want to eradicate as much of the Nomad influence in their society and culture at large, with intention of cutting their political powerbase and reduce quota of Outcast military tech in their hands.

Ironic indeed.

Ill admit I've not seen many of the commune of late outside of Nomak himself nor have we had any actual reports of them at large again other then Nomak.

I appreciate the swift response from you to investigate Delta even without any thing to show for it at this time, but what you bring up about Enma Loyola is troubling. Though it can be noted she has acted somewhat aloof in the recent times I've seen her however at this point the Core have continued to honour their word in regards to leaving us Zoners alone and engaging the Nomad threat when it arises. So for me to investigate Loyola and consider her potential allegiance to Commune or even the Nomads, which i suspect you are hinting at will have to be done with the utmost caution and with concrete evidence.
I can ill afford to re-make an enemy of the Core by prodding and poking about their esteemed Guildmistress.

I will however take into account what you have shown me and start to put out some feelers for information.

With regard to the Communes NEMP weapons, i beleive the only one of them to field the weapon is Nomak, im certain i will be able to get a hold of footage of him with the weapon from Freeport 11, so i will contact the Administrator Designate with post haste and get you this.
I have a feeling that Nomak is potentially acting alone without the full support of maybe even knowledge of the rest of the Commune.

I havent heard anything of this M.N.S Shadow so again i shall put out some feelers and see what i can find about this ship and hand you the details once information if any is uncovered.

The Commune

You will see Order Overwatch ships going after Commune regardless whether they carry out or withdraw their threat. I can assure you of that. However for your information, consider the following.

Nomads WERE known to dispense critical victories to The Order in decade that followed Nomad War making my predecessors believe that alien scourge is contained and believed it they did. K'Hara bide their time, awaiting opportunity to reveal their strenght. It took this blasphenemous Core to make an opening in which we were vulnerable to harm. Core is a third party that damaged the balance that kept Omicrons relatively stable for years. I never claimed that entirety of Core are some sort of willing agents to the alienkind. Your typical Core buckethead is hired killer brainwashed into some fantasy empire worth killing and dying for. They hate Nomads but they see it as a resource to be utilized rather than humanity's competition to be extinguished. Yet again, it is not about our ideological split.

Enma Loyola may perhaps not be infested either. However her connections to the Nomads in some way are a 100% certainty. She may even sacrifice a loyal Nomad servant such as Nomak to keep the appearances and gain your favour. Nomak for all intents and purposes can take a hit and start rebuilding after complete rout or just perish with no considerable consequence to the Hivemind in the long run. She may approve of raids made against the Alien. Everchanging Core leadership is too young to bother studying missteps of the past.

Nomak has a target painted on his head. Juggernaughts of yours won't stop a NEMP launch from highly mobile platform which is the only logical delivery system they can muster. Order Overwatch knows that, Core proved that, Nomak certainly made his homework. For all intents and purposes, everything of this could be a trap or part of some greater machination.

I am gathering the required materials you requested. It shouldn't take to long now to get the logs of Nomaks..Conversation with me and although its not alot i have been informed of some Logs between one of our members and this M.N.S Shadow.

i do not beleive it is a trap, but more a power play, Nomak did at least when i was surrounded by them have some sort of Control over the Vagrant nomads, its possible he is pushing to for a more Organised Nomad front within Delta with him at its forefront.

i have also been informed Commune themselves have begun to intercept and pirate ships within Delta that are heading with supplies to Freeport 11 so they are definitely up to something, perhaps trying to isolate the Freeport since we refused this deal of his.
