So, i'm some sort of veteran on the game, i've been away for two years and i used to play mainly on the Latinoamérica server, i already have a few ships (thank you Rusty_Raven) and joined the BAF|MN. Still i'm a little confused with all the changes and i have a few questions:
1. Is the Liberty - Rheinland war over? Can i still roleplay as an LSF going there to give "financial aid" to criminal groups in rheinland and perhaps attack lawful groups "with no survivors"?
2. What is the matter with those "Battlegroup Harmony"? How i'm supposed to roleplay around them with my LSF?
I can answer the first part of 1 - 2 is a seperatist element of the Liberty Navy. They're hostile to LSF, IIRC. 3. Solar Engineering is a name I haven't heard before, so I'd assume they've gone the way of Willams-Mordhauser Distributing - Defunct.
Hello there- The Liberty-Rheinland war is officially over, although covert ops run by LSF/BDM against each other's houses wouldn't be unsurprising to see (We in BDM do a bit of cooperation with Hackers and Harmony, when need be). And as Nodoka said, Harmony is a seperatist group that fled LN/LSF after claims of nomad infection on both sides. Any sympathizers they had in LSF have defected along with them, so most LSF and LN (unless you plan to defect too) are hostile to them. Solar Engineering was inrp brought out by EFL and IDF, and it's IFF was recycled into the 'Commonwealth of Liberty", for civilians under protection of the Hellfire Legion.
Solar Engineering was merged into EFL Oil and Machinery, to my extreme chagrin, along with anything else that had to do with the First Gallic War and the realisation of Igiss's vision supernova'd, or simply cut, out of the mod, due to brigading over "too many systems" and "Gallia should be reduced to just a military that attacks Sirius and shouldn't be interesting in its own right", etc. The IFF recycling thing occurred.
The primary unlawful group that still mimics the actions of the Liberty/Rheinland conflict is the Unioners. Right down to the same ships, the Unioners frequently raid Texas (and get our ass handed to us) in groups of about 5 to 7 ships. Groups you could pay off in Rheinland would be the Spring Watch or the White Rose, two current iterations of the Bundschuh, who have a history of being comparatively chummy to Liberty.
Some LSF were friendly to Harmony, but there was something of a forced regime change and now that's no longer the case. Harmony has a big RP presence, about average in-game presence due to a relatively small player-pool, but high activity and dedication from those who are in Harmony. The faction is an odd example of a group that had its own ID and IFF before becoming an official entity.

Thank you everyone, now i have more knowledge about how to interact with these groups, i hope to be roleplaying in the server and forum with all of you. So sad Solar is dead, i liked the name and logo.
