it's good to see you back in the CEO position of the Ingenuus Research Group. I guess you already noticed that I have departed from the staff as I certainly had fundamentally disagreed with the approach of your predecessor.
In fact, this has opened me the options to get back into my projects. I'm not sure if I have ever told you about the Sol Project and the Zoner Consensus. If not, this could be a good topic on a later drink we may share, when we will meet again.
However, the reason of my current contact is very specific.
One of my former research vessels, the Stellar Maris is still in use at Ingenuus Research Group, even it has been adopted by your company entirely it still contains four powercells of my property, which I will be in need for pretty soon. Are you so kind and can arrange that they'll get handed over to me?

Hello former colleagues,
as it seems Finn must be pretty busy and my request is urgent I am going to retransmit the original transmission towards the staff of the Ingenuus Reseach Group.
I don't think we've met face to face before, although I've heard passing mentions of your name over the past few weeks. Forgive McCool for not being available as of late. He's been tied up on the Feanturi with some odd project he's been working on. - At any rate, on to the topic at hand.
I've looked into some previous documentation regarding the vessel "Stellar Maris" and have confirmed that it belongs to you. Given that we don't have the proper paperwork proving that the ship ownership is ours, I'll be more than happy to arrange you being able to pick up your asset. Give me the details as to how you'd like that to work, and I'll make it happen.
However, there is a matter which I, and others are a little concerned about. While we have paperwork saying that the vessel is your property, we do not have the same stating that the powercells are under your complete ownership. We've always been stringent about who these cores go to. I'm sure you're aware of the application process required in order to distribute them to potential customers. While you were a member of Ingenuus, we allow distribution of the cells in order to continue their development. I'm sure you've read the contractual agreement when you came aboard for the period of time you were with us. That doesn't apply if you leave the company, meaning that you'd have to go through the normal channels in order to make a purchase of the cores.
Forgive me if I seem rude, although this merely is something that our lawyers are having me explain. Our usual anti-tamper mechanisms aren't in place for cores used within Ingenuus. Reverse engineering is the last thing we want people to do, thus every core sold has the results of Project Cage installed on top, to prevent that from happening.
That's how things are, sadly. If there's any details that I'm missing, I do ask that you give me a reminder. Let me know when you'd like to retrieve the vessel itself. I know those things can be expensive.
indeed, we haven't met face to face, sadly to be honest. I was able to read about some of your works. Very impressive my dear, seriously very impressive.
Unluckily, I have to admit I don't have the papers aswell. Some of my documents were stored on a vessel that was shot by the Core last year. I had the hope that there has been a backup in the Ingenuus databanks. In fact, the Powercells were handed over to me at that time the IRG were growing drastically and it obviously seems the papers could be lost there. Great news anyway that you could still appoint the ownage of the Stellar Maris.
I'm totally aware of the regulations of my former participation at the Ingenuus Research Group. I don't want to claim anything that can't be proven and currently don't see an evident I am able to present. At this point I'm thinking about an alternative, an option. After leaving, or rather being forced to leave due to your previous CEO, Derek Erzie, Hans von Goeben and me have started a project that I most likely want to see as cooperational work between our organisations. Owned and majorly financed by the strong investment group the Zoner Consensus, which I am also representing right now, the Sol Project, as the name already suggests, is a project about the ancient home system of the mankind. The development and construction of a very new space warp technology and the preparation of an expedition towards the Sol sector are the fundamental parts of this organisation of the Zoner Consensus.
Therefore, if the staff of the Ingenuus Research Group is interested we could arrange negotiations about a cooperation or even something deeper.
I suppose I'm honored that you've looked into my work. I hope any publicized thesis or observations prove useful in other fields of study. I look forward to the day that I eventually retire, and am able to look into everything that other professionals are working on at the time.
I'll have documentation sent to the dock-managers where the vessel is currently docked, and have your vessel available to be taken back into your custody whenever you are free to retrieve it. Although there is no rush.
Regarding the other matter at hand with the cores.. If you do have an alternative in mind, according to our lawyers, there's not very much space in which I can bend regarding the subject, although I don't want to appear cold. Please, suggest away.
The Zoner Consensus? This being another subject, I presume? While I've heard the name, and have seen your publicized image here and there, I can't say that I've dived too deep into the actual goals of the group was. I suppose in hindsight, you're absolutely right, given the title "Sol Project" - What sort of cooperation did you have in mind? I've never thought much of returning back to the old Sol system, I don't know what would be gained. Although the subject of spacetravel to that extent most definitely is something I, and by extension Ingenuus may be interested in pursuing. I recall a great amount of time spent speaking to a man named Jacob Wells. A member of Interspace Commerce, who was working closely with Deep Space Engineering's Cold Lake Project. A shame that project was never completed. I always believed the principals to be on the right track. In fact, I intended it to be a field of study Ingenuus will be chasing eventually anyways.
Definitely do give us some more information on what you're asking.
it is good to hear that you have heard about the Zoner Consensus, at least anything else would be surprising as our organisation still settles the south wing of the Corinth Research Station. In fact the Zoner Consensus as an organisation lives the true and real basics of the original intended Zoner culture. Freedom and independence. Some people might call us idealistic, but each of us is a capacity in his field. We have just decided to support the good parts of humanity and dropped the violent ones. We seek to approach and advance through a continuous improvement of education, research and knowledge.
The Edgeworld University and the Sol Project, as a strong historical and an elite educational component are strong parts in that. In regards of future development, I would suggest a technological and educational exchange. We are in need for a proper energy source which obviously directs our interest towards IRG cells. As you already signified interest into having access into the research and technology of a next-generation travelling system I am certain a cooperation would be fruitful.
Ah! It's been quite a while since I've visited Cornith myself, although I certainly may have an excuse to now, given what you folks seem to be running aboard. I've always liked working with students. Young bright minds are wonderful to see. It's an indicator that we may thrive as a species yet.
Idealism isn't a bad thing. As long as naivety isn't heavily exemplified in ones actions, much like a considerable amount of other spacefaring groups, I've always seen good things from people trying to embrace such a thing. Although perhaps that's some of my time hanging around Zoners in general speaking here.
A technological and educational exchange, you say? While I'm intrigued with the idea, I admit I do not really understand what you think Ingenuus will be able to offer relating to that sort of field. You, as a former employee, should be aware that the power cells that we produce aren't exactly.. As multipurpose as conventional nuclear reactors are these days. There are countless quirks which can cause some issues if not treated specifically. Although I suppose that's straying away from the point.
It's an interesting subject indeed. One which we've been approached by a few other individuals regarding the same matter. I'm pleasantly surprised with the Sirius-wide interest in the subject. Perhaps this may signify that advancements are in our near future with enough heads working on the subject.
We'd be happy to partake in this exchange, although more details would be wonderful. Provided that any plan that you have lines up with any information we may be able to provide, we'll definitely figure something out. Obviously we can cooperate to a limit, although there still are some subjects and factors which we need to keep specific to just Ingenuus. We are a business, after all. Although we're not going to let that come between generalized R&D. We are members of the scientific community after all.
Send me details as to what you need from us. If it regards the cells, I'm going to need a little more information on their purpose, but we can get things worked out.
indeed, at the moment any implementation of IRG Cells isn't possible, it is probably even practically inapplicable in general. However as my position within the Ingenuus Research Group didn't include an involvement in the development of the IRG Cells I am certain a clear examination of an involved developer is the most sufficient option.
I think it would be the best continuing talking to each other in person along with an experienced IRG cell developer, if your schedule allows that. May also take this as a chance to visit Corinth again.
In fact, with a visit, I want to introduce you the team behind the Sol Project and would like to present you the developments on site.

Dr. Samson
My name is Sean Goodman. I'm a researcher at Ingenuus' Department of Applied Power, unfortunately Miss Snow's schedule is highly preventative to a meeting involving the three of us; but I am quite available to assist you in the Power Cell Application process. Furthermore an on-sight visit and presentation of your required needs with greatly help us in the personalization of your Ingenuus Power Cores. Luckily for both of us I am in the Theta system visiting one of our field sights; I'll notify your secretary when I arrive on Corinth.
