It has come to our attention that the Gallic Royal Navy has decided to make moves in the Edinburgh system and set up a rather large installation in that system that bears a striking similarity to a dry-dock. Preliminary data isn't sufficient at this time to conclusively state one way or another what it is, what we do know however is that it cannot remain in that system unchallenged. The Service was recently contacted by the Gaian's on the matter, unsurprisingly they are not happy about the installation being in that system anymore than we are.
As such, I propose a combined strike, pilots from the SIS, SCRA and the Gaian movement working to dislodge or (at very least) hinder the operation of the Royal Navy in that region. I would like to know your thoughts on the matter, and if you would consent to the participation of the Natio Octavarium or anyone else.

It is certainly of concern to the People's Republic, given ongoing discussion, that Gallic Royalists are furthering the entrenchment of their gains. It was also hoped that we would have been able to first make an attempt at joint warfare against the Corsair position in Cayman, although the jump lines to that system have collapsed and the Omegas as a whole have shifted around quite a bit since the supernova in Omega-11.
It seems we will have to settle for a strike against the Gauls. The Gaians should not have any conflicting interests with us at this time, and neither does Natio Octivarium. The only probable impedance we foresee would be the lack of total formal cessation of hostile identity and formal transit rights through Bretonia proper, which is currently still on the negotiating table as of the receipt of your communique. A discreet route to Edinburgh from Coalition territory exists, however, so impact can be minimized.
Submit your plans of operation. We can spare some strike assets to apply pressure where it is needed.
Considering the Gaians are the ones who came up with the idea I believe they will ultimately have the final say on these matters. That said, the Gaians do have a lack of heavy capital assets, and the Armed Forces have few things to spare. As such I believe your capital vessels would be most welcome, additional fighter and/or bomber support would be welcome of course, but so far as I can see, capital vessels are more or less where we need you.
However, as I mentioned, the Gaians will have the final say, so if you agree to assist in this capacity then I will let them know.

The Revolutionary Army will be ready to commit some tonnage against the Gauls. The most glaring tactical concern is staying power against any dreadnoughts the enemy may deploy, it is hoped that substantial support against such threats will be available to even the odds. It is not a concern of firepower, but a concern of tonnage.
Your support is most welcome, we will endeavor to find some way of countering the Royal Navy's dreadnoughts. To that end, I would ask how you feel regarding the participation of the Council.
