Guten Tag, Admiral Linford.
Your decision is noted. Though I would like to ask once more if you can tell me when the first photo you sent me was taken, because like I mentioned, I try to identify when the weapon platform was deployed for the purpose of gathering as much precise information as possible in the investigation about the whole situation and related law violations.
Apart from that, I forgot one important thing - to ask if you are you willing to offer Kruger Mineralien as the owner of the involved station reimbursement for what your action caused and if yes, what the sum would be. I guess you know that this act can be taken as a mitigating circumstance when punishment will be considered.
The original photograph was taken at the initial time of discovery, exact time being 15:22:30 Sirian Standard Time, on date 9-23-825.
Onto your second terms, I would be more than willing to issue reimbursement, however my forces have no dealt any damage to the facility nor have we harmed any workers in the region in any way that would require such reimbursement. Now should any incidents that would prove my ships' flight records wrong I would be more than happy to provide compensation for damages done, however to my knowledge no aggressive actions have been taken, ceasing after clarification from yourself in the matter some time ago. Therefore I reimbursement for not dealing any damages feels unjust to me, in my opinion.
I do understand how the message would come across and make those onboard begin to fear, but a swift addendum was given that would put rest to any concerns for safety anyone within the region of the facility would have. Do bear in mind, our intelligence reports we have the full brunt of the Unioner's primary forces, including most, if not all, of their capital ship assets engaged in full-scale warfare against us over the Bering system, putting ourselves in a very dangerous situation In order to tie up and beat down the Union menace in the region, we can spare so much before we get itchy. We must take every precaution to ensure our safety, unfortunately this, at the time, included an aggressive first-contact protocol with unidentified facilities within the region. Since the Unioners deployed nuclear weapons, we had to ensure this facility wasn't a threat to us, something I had hoped would come out with such aggressive first contact. As it proves, such approaches are not successful.
I do feel as if the facilities owners were hoping the facility would go unnoticed by most parties. The facilities administration refused to make any contact with us until some time after our communications had cleared up the matter. While I'm sure you were aware of the facility, given your swift response, we were not and I feel it was quite clear they would not communicate at all, which is saddening in all honesty, a simple matter can be resolved with words and it seems they had preferred an attack, and blood be spilled over misconceptions.

Guten Tag, Admiral Linford.
I apologize for the delay caused by my injury which excluded me from my duties temporarily. Regarding the photo I was asking about, I actually meant the other one you sent me, where the weapon platform is deployed already and unfortunately there is no timestamp on it. Can you tell me when it was taken?
When it comes to the reimbursement, I can understand your points and would agree with most of it. On the other hand, while no direct attack took place, the administration of the base felt endangered for several hours until everything was cleared out and that - at least so far it seems so - went to the emergency decision to construct the weapon platform without proper permission, for which now the owner Krüger Mineralien will be fined. Thus they could argue that your action caused them some costs and financial damage.
However, payment of the reimbursement is not an order at this moment, just offer which you will or will not use. As I said previously, it can be taken as a mitigating circumstance when punishment will be considered, and as you may or may not know, there is also political aspect because some members of the government and the Bundestag are watching this case and asking about it. The decision is up to you
My apologies for the delay, things have been rather.. chaotic lately. Now I fully understand the need to maintain a calm. If neccessary I will offer a 25,000,000 credit payment for "emotional suffering" on the circumstances. With the second point, my intel flight failed to record precisely the time but estimates put it at roughly 26 hours after the initial photograph, we estimate the defensive emplacement was put up within a day of initial contact.
Hopefully this clears anything up, if not, feel free to bring anything else of concern.

Guten Tag, Admiral Linford.
Danke for the information regarding the photo and the reimbursement. The case has been closed and the court gave a verdict during the hearing on Monday, you can see summary hier...
Hamburg and Rheinland Border Zones Criminal Court Wrote:Admiral Jade Linford of the Battlegroup Harmony was found guilty of a violation of the paragraph 2.3.1. of the Article Two of the Rheinland laws - Piracy is described as performing or attempting to perform actions such as the disruption of trade lane rings, and/or an extortion for sums of money, equipment, cargo or personnel in exchange for the immediate or future safety of the target of the said actions. Therefore she is given the suspended sentence of 9 months in prison with the probation period of 18 months.
The Battlegroup Harmony is - according to paragraph 2.6.1. of Article Two - obliged to pay a fine of 10 million credits to account RFP|Arsenal and provide confirmation of this payment, to cover the fine issued by the Bundespolizei to the owner of the Salvage Depot for construction of a weapon platform without permission. The battlegroup represented by the Admiral Jade Linford was found as a culprit which caused the situation in which the base looked like under an imminent threat and caused that the owner had to act without any delay in the interest of protecting the lives of all people aboard the base, albeit against the law, and thus have to take responsibility for the consequences instead of the owner.
Also, the Battlegroup Harmony will pay the offered reimbursement of 25 million credits to the same account and Bundespolizei will arrange to forward the sum to the base owner.
