It has been a rough few months rebuilding and testing our first iterations of the Kinetic Turret and while we are very proud of our work it seems the weapon has some major con's that need to be addressed before being fielded. Considering this weapon comes from our early days of the Sole Era the advancements in shields have rendered this weapon virtually useless against them. It will take the work of other weapons in our arsenal to down them, once that obstacle is out of the way the Kinetic Turret still functions rather well, providing extream damage to hull and surrounding components. Another con would be the operators would have to physically reload the weapon before being able to fire again, making the downtime significant enough to ensure our gunners shoot straight the first time.

All in all, this weapon will perform well on Hull but ineffective on shields, its reload time is significant so be sure to land your first shots, we will begin our first live trials on the |O|-CV-Neteru and all data will be recorded so we can see how we can improve this old technology and refurbish it to be up to date.

With the Kinetic Turret still functioning correctly we have decided to move on to a new project dubbed "Sledge Turret" It has a high power out put with high energy cost however it cannot sustain long distance. Truly an up close and personal weapon, I believe it will suite the Neteru due to The Osiris's currently artillery load out. This new design will allow our Osiris the option of up close battles. However with this being our first attempt at this weapon we still dont know how it will do in the field. So for now we will only equip one turret at this time until the data comes back that this new gun is doing what we think it should.

Our hopes have payed off and we as a team decided the data collected has shown promise. We will now create and install a second Sledge Turret on the The Neteru, we have noted the increase power usage and will take measures to make sure not to overload our systems. May god be with us.
