Howdy.

I've had a twitch to contact the IRG for a while now regarding something a little personal. However, before I start blabbing about all my wants, needs and personal feminine issues, I'll start by asking you how it's been. Holidays are coming up, and even I remember that much. Presents? Cake? Something-something tree?

Anyway..
I've had an interest for the past half-year that I've been trying to get done, but not had the connections or material and labor available to help me tackle it.
I'm looking to refit my ship, the Montu, into a tool to better combat the Nomad threat, as well as the growing infested population. I'm well aware of the Ingenuus' work with high-grade technology, and was hoping that we could work out something beneficial for both sides.
What I'm looking for is an augment to the fore-end of my vessel, where the engineers decided to mount four admittedly unusual launching tubes. While they serve little purpose besides looking cool and firing out small drones, I'm looking to replace two silos in the center of the hull with heavy weapons that, as I've said before, can make quick work of Nomadic hides and infested warships. Fixed spinal weapon mounts would be better than aimed ones, and far less resource intensive, especially if the entire thing is spinal mounted as I'm guessing it will need to be.

Take it into consideration, and let me know as soon as you've made a verdict. I'm aware the IRG is not in the business of making weapons of mass destruction, but when it comes to dealing with the threat we both acknowledge, I'm certain you'll make an exception.

I'm surprised you're asking, as we've adjusted our stance on the principle of these sorts of things. You're right about our tune to prevent the production of mass destruction conduits, weapons, or otherwise, however, this bears no exception against Nomads or not. Just because we know how to make something capable of shredding apart the crust of a planet and reducing it to a barren hellscape, doesn't mean we will.

That being said, we can try to retrofit your current pylons into something more useful for a single vessel mission. I'll pitch the issue to my engineers and see what they come up with. We're not really in the weapons manufacturing business, so even if we can, it would be far from optimized and be on the fringes of our logistical capabilities.

Perhaps members of the Core would be more forthcoming to aid you. I'll see what's possible, but I'll need your current layout schematics to at least see how much room we have and the current tonnage.
