It feels like the Vierlande assault has happened few moments ago and yet there's already another battle ahead of us. A life of a soldier is truly exhausting, isn't it? Perhaps one day we'll achieve what we fight for and have some time to rest... But that day, sadly, is not today.

The Red Hessian Army is in unfavourable position at the moment. The defeat in Omega-3 resulted with our battleship being crippled, and our forces in the north are engaged by the Alster Union and Rheinland Military. Our lines have been weakened by constant blows and we are open for another attack. As a Direktor of the Spezialoperationsabteilung, it is my duty to ensure that we do not fail. I have assigned all of the Spezialoperationsabteilung operatives to work intensively on the defence capabilities of Dresden in order to ensure the safety of our stronghold in the Rheinland, as well as to repel any possible attack from Battleship Kassel until the repairs have been concluded.

With all that in motion, the battlezone of Omega-47 has been severely weakened. That has happened in an unfortunate time because, as you already know, the Battleship Fes has arrived at the scene and it's loaded to the brim with pilots eager to join the fray. Despite the fact that our troops aboard Viernheim and Planet Tangier are battle-hardened and well equipped, they are simply too few to repel a full-scale attack, should the Corsairs decide to mount one. Which brings me to my plea.

Premier, we require soldiers, pilots and crafts to aid in the defence of Planet Tangier. We are unable to spare more without risking our success elsewhere, so we are forced to rely on assistance from closest allies - Yourself. The question is, are you willing to respond?

It seems like war is always changing... I wonder what happened to the person who said it never does. That said, I am of course grateful for the Hessian backbone that most thoroughly crushed the reactionaries of Rheinland at Vierlande, and covered my escape with our personnel, yours, and a ready supply of 'Converts' taken from the allegiance of the Unionists. That was a worthwhile operation. Your honor-bound caper to try and delay the inevitable in Omega-3 however, was not so worthwhile in the end, I think, not when I consider the meddling of a certain King's ambitions on the whole of Sirius.

I'm not surprised, that amidst the chaos, the Corsairs would try their best to exploit it. Planning to extract the Kassel from its current hot spot was enough of a headache for Coalition Command. Weighing our own tactical options and necessities on the side as well, there is a lot going on in this office. Right now, the prevailing plans in debate involve covering either of your exposed hind cheeks. But, you know well the Revolutionary Army is a small, hard-hitting force for crashing critical points, before fading.

Coalition Command has been pretty deadlocked over where to focus upon, given just how much the situation seems to keep changing. I sincerely hope the next trick you have up your sleeve isn't incoming attacks in Dresden, 54, hell, let's just assume the serious fighting will spill into New Moscow itself at this rate. As you can expect, I don't want things to get that bad.

Doomsayers aside, a judicious application of popular expression seems to be in order again. Crete's broken empire needs to stay that way -- it's better for everyone when it isn't gaining ground. To that end, the Revolutionary Army will be preparing for another expedition. Our forces will prepare to move in.

The war indeed does change. Sometimes for the better, and sometimes for the worst. As much as the Vierlande operation was a major success, the situation in the Army is far from pleasing. The outcome of Omega-3 crisis was evident from the start, but an alternative to our intervention would be far more devastating. Without it, it is a question when the tyranny would stop... Or if it would ever stop. Gran Canaria is a monument of failed resistance and a reminder of how people's lives are sometimes more important than politics. It was too late to make sure it does not repeat on Aland, but we made sure that it is not too late for all that was to come.

The victory of Bretonia in the Omegas was a pyrrhic one, and it made sure that their selfish conquest is put on hold... At least for now. The time that we have bought was expensive, but it is time nevertheless. We must use it to strategically strengthen the Omega-47 and make sure the doomsaying does not turn into a reality. With your support, the chances for it are slim and I thank you for it, Premier. I will make sure that you receive absolute support from the Army and Spezialoperationsabteilung operatives in the upcoming battle.

Crete will fail to sack Omega-47, no matter how much they insist on reinforcing their assault forces, the combined forces of the People will match their resolve, and defeat them with a dedication that no anachronistic system of organization can truly hope to meet, not least while half their people starve.

This isn't the tactical situation I would have ever hoped to be in, but it could have been worse. Right now, we need to dispense with the pleasantries and focus on coordinated military planning to thwart battlegroup Fes. The channel remains open in the event you see fit to patch me through to any ongoing preparations.
