my name is Pryor Guimond, Officier of Ille de France Shipping.
I'd like to report you something, which you might find interesting.
Today, when I was making a delivery to the Burgundy system, I met a person named "Maximillian.Largo".
This person, who introduced himself as an Lane Hacker, threatened me and demanded me to give him informations. Basicly, he wanted me to become his spy. Of course I refused.
He continued to threaten me and my fellow IDF workers, but in the end, it was only that - empty threats. This person was very suspicious to me, since he sent me an weird long range message, where he wanted me to deliver supplies to Java Station, in Tau-23.
I refused to help him, as we generally do not make deliveries without an valid contract.
Besides all the threats, and his unbelievable demand, there was another line that caught my interest:
Maximillian.Largo: "We might have intelligence regarding a certain vessel of yours allying itself with the Bretonian corporations..."
If such a alliance really happened, I'd like to have all informations you have about said vessel.
We can not tolerate treason within our ranks.
However, I believe this was just a lie to put some more pressure on me.
Anyways, while I refused his "offer", we can't be sure that everyone would do the same. Be aware, the Lane Hackers are trying to get spies into our house cooperations, and perhaps even the law enforcement. Be careful who you trust.
That's all from me for now. I will keep you updated in case something similar happens again.
In the attackments you will find some guncam shots, as well as the blackbox recording of this event.
It is nice to see a vigilant and loyal citizen of our Kingdom. We shall take this incident into account, record the evidence you have provided, and consider a course of action. I assume you have already informed IDF Security Department about the matter. It would be best if they knew: even though you didn't accept the "deal", others might not have the same resolve. Even the best of us can be susceptible to manipulation of one form or another.
I understand that these acts of threats and aggression by these so-called "Lane Hackers" call for action, but our opportunities are limited at the moment. Escadron XXII is currently being deployed to the frontlines, and we don't have nearly enough personnel to provide security detail for corporate traffic in the Taus and Gallic Border Worlds. However, I have some ideas how to address this situation. It would be best if we discussed it in private.
don't worry, all the IDF employees have been briefed and I will personally make sure that none of them will fall for their cheap tricks.
IDF will remain as loyal as they always were, and no one within our rank will become a traitor, I promise you that.
About the ideas you mentioned, I am working in the Gallic Core Worlds, if you have the time to meet me there, do so.
If not, feel free to provide an secure meeting point yourself.
