I do wish to inquire about your Modular base located within Ames Research Station in Kepler. I do wish to apologize firstly to the crew of your station, I am sure the sight of a Liberty Dreadnought in the vicinity must have been startling considering the Rio Grand does not venture out this far. Truth be told I cant remember the last time the Vermont made its way here since the war started, Anyways. I wish to know what Port Tacoya is for and what its mission is whether it be creating of equipment or more scientific ventures, that is if you would not mind telling me?

Colonel Shepard,
Port Tacoya serves many purposes, ranging from storage, to a marketplace for several goods to be bought and traded by many parties. You could say it's where we move the junk to in order to free up space on Ames for more important activities. We're currently only producing equipment on Ames, though we have plans for equipment manufacturing on Port Tacoya in the future. We do have other facilities within our access to produce most auxiliary equipment used by various organizations, should you have a specific requirement.
Feel free to voice specific concerns in this channel, otherwise, we'll see you around.
Best of luck,

Doctor,
I should have guessed Ingenuus Research Group runs this modular base, considering its proximity to Ames. Your organization has quite the reputation for being one of the leading research groups Sirius has ever heard of. I am sure your hard work and dedication came at great sacrifice. Well, I guess Port Tacoya wont be able to suite my needs. You see I am looking for a upper hand against the Gallic Royal Navy and various criminal elements within Liberty. While I am sure your group is not focused on weaponizing your research I am sure you have an interest with The Republic of Liberty continuing to repel the Gallic Royal Navy considering your headquarters is Located in Pennsylvania. Does anything come to mind that you would recommend be installed on a Liberty Dreadnought that could tip the scales in our favor?

Colonel Shepard,
While I wish I could offer a technical recommendation, I have little to offer because Ingenuus doesn't have a thorough understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the Gallic arsenal. What I can say is that it's a huge priority to have the latest and greatest of your own arsenal if you wish to truly find success on any front, but I'm sure the Liberty Navy is already well aware of this. I would consult the strategists within your chain of command to find the best options, but one Ingenuus has taken a liking to is a hyperspace matrix network, allowing capital assets and small security groups to move quickly to where they're needed without the tedious process of scanning coordinates that quickly become inaccurate. It's fairly expensive to establish, but well worth the flexibility, as you'll find repositioning assets much easier. We've confirmed on numerous occasions localized FTL systems are more reliable than trade lanes and gates when those options are unavailable due to disruption, or when exploring or fighting beyond zones that have an established network. That being said, the system is not flawless; I merely mentioned it as due to its expense, it's frequently ignored or disregarded as an option.
Other than that, I have very little to offer until you have specific equipment requirements and needs for us to fulfill.
Best of luck,
