It has been a while since we have sent a transmission to each other. I've been pre-occupied, and I know previous works we had started seem to of fallen off the wayside... but I want to reach out to you to inquire about a particular resource that may be found in Kusari. I was informed by a Coalition official that there is a source of ore that could be found in Kusari referred to as "Platinum" ore. He was informed by a "Watanabe" clan, but I rather get it verified through you first as I have never met such a clan, nor have we encountered any through collaborating with you and your clan supporters. It was also brought to my attention that there is a definitive need of this resource to import into the Coalition.
If such an ore can be found in your space, I'd like to see if we can setup some form of collaboration to where we can perhaps buy it from you or you can deliver it to us in the Omegas. I have a trade post for such purposes managed by Volgograd Industrial to store any ores you may bring us, or we bring from you.

It truly has been a while since we last were in contact.
Although we do have managed to secure a source of "Platinum ore", we are still currently working on getting our own mining set-ups, thus for now we still rely on independent miners.
I am, I have to admit, surprised that such information has fallen in the hands of "a Coalition official". While, it does seem that said "official" has mentioned a Watanabe clan, neither I, nor my clansmen have any information of its existence among our BD Shogunate clans.
These details are even more confusing, since my clan is the direct supervisor and owner of the base where the Platinum has been stored. As you would imagine, we know exactly who comes and goes, and furthermore, who has access to our base and, consequently, to the resources stored on it.
Nevertheless, your transports are more than welcome to move the amount of Platinum that we are able to acquire. Unfortunately, currently, we are not able to make deliveries to your system.

If only you could see my laughter. It seems we've been played! You see I knew there was something off when our respected official spoke with such certainty, and with a slight tone of an order. We've been active together for quite some time, and I believe that if there were something of value that you could provide you would of told us. So count me as equally confused if not surprised to hear this not from your mouth but his.
I must say my dear shogunate comrade, it seems your subject response is correct. There is in fact a rogue clan in the system then. One whom think they can speak for you all, and for the sake of our relations I hope they will be drawn out and purged soon. As for our behalf, I'll be sure to inform our official that any future economic collaboration from Kusari must be through us and agreed upon by you. To not repeat this mishap, I will take full responsibility for his mistake. But innocent as he was, I believe this resource will be valuable to our industries.
To alleviate you of the burden of travel and at your suggestion, I will order Volgograd Industrial to bring the ores from your base to ours, and I'd like to extend a little extra for your comrades. For any that help escort us through the Kusari systems, they can expect to be paid for each system they had to escort us through. I can provide limited access to a special channel where escort work is reported to for payment.

It does seem like there is a rogue entity/clan talking on our behalf. Our dragons will be more than happy to accompany your people and provide cover if things where to get heated.
Our miners have been informed to continue mining Platinum ore, soon enough we will have a working prototype that will enable us to mine it ourselves thus eliminating the need of a third party. As of right now, there is sufficient ore available for your transport to pick and deliver wherever you see fit
You are right, although we considered informing you about our new venture, we wanted to wait until there was no need of a third party. I honestly hope, that situations such as the one described in the message will never occur again. Trust and honor are the only things that one can rely on in this day and age.

Any and all information that you manage to gather regarding this "Watanabe" clan will be of utter importance to us. We have started an investigation on our end, but again, since we have never encountered them, it might take some time.
I will notify the other Daimyos of our discussion, and forward the communication channel so that they can inform you about which clan's fighters will act as escorts.
