Respected Elders... Capitanes... *nods with respect*
After her transfer from Dresden to New London, we had few coordination glitches with Athos. She was in capable hands of Custodi captains, doing her best for The Empire, but something went wrong and we first lost communication and after that only short distress call was received from her. We triangulated that call and it's not coming from where she should be.
Therefore Elders opened this Oficina de Coordinación de la Armada Imperial channel. Network is established via stationary battleship Prox in Gamma and it's highly encrypted. Captains of three battleship will report via this channel, as listed:
Gracias for your understanding and cooperation, Capitanes. Your reports will be on Elders desks with no delays.
As for stationary battleship Prox report, all power, communication, weapons and life support systems are normal. We are orbiting Crete, as planned. Dinner was served with severe delay.

Buenos dias, respected Senors. *looking for a place with less smoke*
Your message hit us in the right moment. We established communications few minutes ago and I was thinking how to put this. Eh...
This is mucho chaos. A disaster grande. We are just a bit more than a wreck now.
Athos is badly damaged. Fuel is leaking out and radiation is leaking in. Most compartments are full of toxic smoke. Life support will support us few more days. Maybe few more hours, considering where our real captain is. But, let me explain easily.
*explains easily* It all started when new captain arrived to the ship. He was all tall and smart, issuing orders short and clear with strong Greek accent. We had to make all buttons shiny and clean our shoes every day. Siesta time was minimised to one hour. Of course, he ordered air conditioning systems to work 24/7, so there was no reasons for real siestas.
Then we moved to New London. Soon our asses were on fire. All kind of Gringos were shooting on us from all directions and Gallic Command was putting us always in the first line. Orders were no so clear any more, like: Gaians! Shoot them first! ... No, no shooting Gaians! ... Si, si - shoot Gaians immediately! ... Nope. We don't shoot Gaians! ... Ok, shoot in Gaians general direction and be sure to miss them!
After a while hull breaches were imminent. Custodi captain got badly burned by electric arc from air-conditioning system when some huge torpedo got us. Gallic command was pushing us forward, but I ordered urgent evacuation of wounded captain. Gauls sent us some salvage freighter, they took our captain, but all Custodi crew was also evacuated with him. I took command over crippled Athos and our halved crew managed to retreat her to Dublin.
We are sitting duck now, hidden next to gold abundant asteroid fields of Dublin. I just hope we won't meet some angry miner before we repair shields and weapon systems. Staying here is bad idea. There is a Gaian base in Newcastle we could cripple to. We could also push our luck to reach Gamma, but it's mucho lot of luck to be pushed. Reaching Issoudun Drydock in Aquitaine is also an option, but somehow I'm not sure how Gallic command would understand our retreat.
Waiting for further orders... Por favor?

Capitan de la Cruz *smiles wildly*
There you are... and there are two good news for you!
1. You are the capitan of Athos now, by the Imperial pirates Naval Law.
2. Damage you sustained is standard heavy battle damage. Your retreat was on time. Our ships are made to endure this. Just stay where you are, heads down, low profile. Use your First Officer password to enter captain's safe-box. You will find ship's blueprints there. Use them to start basic repairs. Start with weaponry and shield systems. You are at hostile territory and being combat ready is the priority.
Your damaged hull, internal systems and engines you can't repair without spare parts, however. Thanks to greedy Bretonians mistakes we have strong allies now everywhere and da Palma Oliveira is already on getting you grocery list delivered *smiles wildly*. Stay sharp.

Gracias, respected Senors. It was el good plan. *bridge behind looks badly damaged, but functional*
We received materials needed to patch Athos up, although she's still not battle ready. Gaians offered us drydock repairs at New Castle, but our little attack on Carillon wasn't very successful, so we had to pull back and are hiding in asteroids south from Graves. I'm afraid we can't reach Leeds hole after all this, pass through Leeds fast enough and reach Skye base in New Castle undetected. Our engines, shields and battle stations saw better days. But, we are not burning or leaking and can't be traced.
I report to be still in Dublin as ordered, well hidden here, supply lines are recovered and our bomber fleet is almost undamaged. We even received few old grumpy ladies in Gaian bombers and they are liberating gold from Bretonnian miners pretty well for their age. We are paying for our supplies in pure gold!
As that Gallic charade is over, we can do some real business where we need. Reconnaissance wing is already out, checking BAFs defences in Omega-49. Winter is coming at Gran Canaria and wasting more time would be mucho loco. We will soon launch preemptive anti-fighter attack on Stirling's defence. Bombers would bomb her in next wave, covered by our mighty Praefects.
We hope to attract part of Coalition forces, as they can't resist kissing Bretonnian asses. This suppose to make Fes's job a bit easier. They can't be on two places in el same time, no matter what Lenin said. *wide smile of freshly promoted Latino*
