Moka's Pilgrim moored successfully on Beaumont, the newly refurbished engines cooling down nicely. He was lucky to get the last of the good parts before productions slowed down at The Nonsense Factory. After his little rage quit from the leadership of the primary pack he began to enjoy what it was like being out there, in open space. His self sense of importance and desire to stay safe to retain control over the pack was slowly being overwhelmed by the adrenaline he got from fighting again. He was certainly rusty but his dodging was still impeccable. He was beginning to enjoy life again. His friends who joined him seemed to notice a differing behaviour pattern and soon came to realize that Moka wasn't all that hard all the time.
As he made his way down the corridors of Beaumont, his childhood came flooding back. It was thirty years ago since he last laid foot here on that fateful day his parents were killed. Rumours blamed the Xeno but the most believable was that the Police had shot them down. No trace was ever found and Moka set out to hunt the police and his journey with the Rogues began there.
As he entered the bar, faces glimpsed at him with a sense of recognition but no one dared to ask. Moka sat at the bar and ordered his favourite whiskey and looked around for Rick, the bar had a quiet humand people were back to their activities and so for the first time in public, he felt normal.

Rick yawned, his alarm blaring notifying him that the guest he was waiting for had finally arrived. Fumbling around his room to the mirror he swigged a mouthful of SynthWash MouthWash while haphazardly brushing his hair to the side. Spitting into the sink as the bartender informed him Moka had arrived at the bar. He threw on his trademarked leather coat and made his way up to the main deck of Beaumont where "Lord" Moka was waiting.
Wasn't everyday the self proclaimed "King" of Liberty came calling but when he did it always paid well, no doubt in Rick's mind this time would be no different. Truth be told, he never bought into the "Lord" title, he's a man just like any other, titles like "Lord" and "King" are for people who have something to prove. Not that he'd ever tell Moka this, in his dealings across Sirius he found it best for business to simply allow people to live in their fantasies. Arriving in the barroom he noticed Moka at the bar looking noticeably more relaxed then normal. Good or bad Rick wasn't sure what had changed but something had made the strong arming murderous "King" slightly more laid back then usual.
Strolling up to the bar, the bartender slid him a beer as he approached Moka.

Moka watched as Rick came across the bar, a warm smile edging at the edges of his mouth. While they were no means good friends, they were good allies. The Congress and Moka's reign go as far back as the time of the Indians. Things, however, had certainly changed since then and that's Arbiters included. He raised his glass in acknowledgement just before Rick posed his question.
"Rick, good to see you. And in good fashion, straight to the point" Moka then smiled, and damn it felt good in feeling legitimate joy "I'll get to the crux of it; I got that Pilgrim out there, and this radical idea. I want to buff the shit out of thing and I'm not talking just giving her some new engines or the likes. I'm talking about making it able to compete with some of the biggest ships the Navy have too offer. I'm thinking reinforcing her hull, throwing on some mortars and even a torpedo or two. I don't know exactly, but something I can compare it to for harassing the Navies largest assets. I want range, I want power and I want amour and at least make it more faster than it currently goes. I don't care how thick you make the armor or how big a core. I just want a good, fast interceptor. You know what I mean?" Moka explained with an almost child-like enthusiasm, he was moving his arms as he was describing and you could see that Moka was serious. "I know you Junkers have it in you, you helped me build the Disaster years back. So in lieu of all that, what do you think?"

Rick raised his eyebrow, the proposition of turning a rusting hulk from the early days of the colonies into a warship was daunting indeed. Though not something he was opposed to, this was not a small project and one unlike anything Congress had done in years.
"Turning a Pilgrim Liner into a warship will be no easy task. Armor plating and reactor upgrades are one thing, but in order to support the newer weapon systems we would need to rip out all the electrical systems and upgrade them extensively. Don't get me wrong it can be done, It will not be cheap, it will not be quick, but it can be done. Vieques should be able to handle the project as is, so that saves a huge possible headache. Conveniently, there is enough left over parts of Rheinland and Liberty ships floating in Bering most of the resources we need should be able to be salvaged, for the armor that is. I am assuming you want something at least marginally slower then the Scylla, but fast enough to give them Navy Interdictors a run for their money. "
He paused.
"You certainly have my interest, if this thing even... "
He paused again.
"No, when this monster leaves the drydock, Congress will be getting one for ourselves."
He took a long drink from his beer, before looking towards Moka, awaiting his response. No denying he was excited, in his tenure as Arbiter Congress' reputation had stagnated. This could be just the thing they needed to bring them back to the fore front of power in both Liberty and all of Sirius' underworlds.

Moka paused a moment at the mention of Congress having one as well, he considered it's benefits of having a sister ship built for the Junkers for the sole reason of spare parts and repairs and the miminising of costs for running it. He looked at Rick and grinned, a gleam in his eye, for he knew that this idea had come to a start."You know, this could work out quite well. With a pair of sister ships then we can reduce some maintenance costs and constant development of them. I'm keen to get this going, when's a good time to start?" Moka was eager to start, he hadn't had motivation like this in a long time and having let go of the bounds of being top dog, he was content with just being himself. Enjoying what it means to be a Rogue.

Moka agreed, he offered his hand and shook Rick's and solidified the deal between them. Moka bid Rick his farewell and signaled to his entourage to leave. As Moka was about to exit he took a last look in Rick's direction and grinned.
