My rehabilitation takes longer than anticipated, and i would not want you to see me in such condition - before i can stand on my feet with confidence; though i promise you we will meet soon enough - once everything is done here and before i return to active service. I expect us to have a week or two before that happens that we can spend however we want.
Do know that i am looking forward to it and hope that during my prolonged absence you've been doing well; i believe you have plenty of stories to tell me, isn't that right, Lucia?

It's been quite some time since I last heard from you. But that's probably my fault.
I haven't really been around much lately, but I guarantee you, now I'm back to Crete and will stay there for the years to come.
It's sad to hear you're still struggling with your injuries. I'm sorry that I haven't been around to support you,
let me know if there's something I can do for you.
Ever since I got promoted to vice-almirante, I barely found a minute to rest. Things aren't easy on the borders of the empire,
but that shall not be your concern for now, until you have fully recovered.
Despite my duties, I'll make sure to have the time for a proper get-together soon. I can't wait to tell you a few stories.
I've been to so many places by now, most of them were horrible, but I guess that's part of the experience.
Let me know when you're free, I can't wait to see you again.
It has been somewhat over a month since we got to speak last time, and it was a long and busy one, rich on different events - the most notable, most certainly, being the launch and the maiden voyage of Evora Monte - a Murmillo i find much more appealing to operate with - and she already has a few notable victories over our most formidable adversaries - Rheinland Military, Red Hessians, Core, Outcasts... everyone is equal before the might of her cannons...
... ahem; regardless - this is not the reason i am calling you today, and i wish i brought you more pleasant news. Our wannabe "business partners" - Free Trade People - seem to be keen on persuading independent Corsairs to protect them - likely, with nine-digit sums in Sirius Credits, and are not so fond of our partnership as of late. The cases i am talking about is a Legate opening fire on Evora Monte and claiming to be FTP's collaborator seconds prior to it.
Don't get me wrong, i followed the orders from the top brass to the letter and did not fire a single shot on the installation, so the attack is, as you may guess, is totally unprovoked.
But what i came across during the traverse of Evora Monte to reinforce our position in the Sigmas is even more interesting, i believe you would like to have a look.
[17.09.2020 17:42:23] FTP|sueme|: waiting for your bosses go-ahead?
[17.09.2020 17:42:39] FTP|sueme|: or maybe re-inforcements hahahaha
[17.09.2020 17:42:45] BFC|CNS-Evora-Monte: Cortes: Waiting for your oddball collaborators to save you?
[17.09.2020 17:43:23] FTP|sueme|: You mean the Corsair high command? Funny way to call them
[17.09.2020 17:44:03] BFC|CNS-Evora-Monte: Cortes: It's about the band of morons on a Legate that forgot where their allegiance lies.
[17.09.2020 17:44:22] FTP|sueme|: the other night there was a report that you were too scared to attack the base alone, and after 2 hours
[17.09.2020 17:44:34] BFC|CNS-Evora-Monte: Cortes: I caught a few of them and threw them in the atmosphere of Rugen. Tempted to do the same to you.
[17.09.2020 17:44:35] FTP|sueme|: you couldnt get enough help so you left
[17.09.2020 17:45:00] BFC|CNS-Evora-Monte: Cortes: What exactly stops me from blasting your scrap bucket open?
[17.09.2020 17:45:13] FTP|sueme|: so you really didnt want to fight another cap ship alone, is the result of that
[17.09.2020 17:45:30] BFC|CNS-Evora-Monte: Cortes: Know your place, little rat.
[17.09.2020 17:45:46] FTP|sueme|: like I said, maybe you should wait for reinforcements
[17.09.2020 17:46:00] BFC|CNS-Evora-Monte: Cortes: Torch that piece of scrap.
[17.09.2020 17:46:07] BFC|CNS-Evora-Monte: Cortes: I had enough of your nonsense.
[17.09.2020 17:46:15] Death: FTP|sueme| was put out of action by BFC|CNS-Evora-Monte (Gun).
[17.09.2020 17:46:57] BFC|CNS-Evora-Monte: Cortes: Your arrogance have been noted.
They thought assumed partnership grants them immunity against becoming a cannon fodder. I happily proven them wrong, and for their provocation they answered in blood and scrap.
Do you still wish to be considerate in their regard?

Congratulations to your recent victories. The Evora Monte was built in the same series as the Lisboa, so it has great potential. I am sure you'll do much good with it in the coming months.
Now to the other part of your message. I knew going to Omega-55 would cause some sort of trouble, which is why I advised most of our people to avoid the system if possible. But allright, now it happened.
You should however understand that those people are not "business partners". They are suppliers, independent serfs who contribute to our empire with goods and intel in exchange for their lifes. It is concerning that they somehow had the power to get the commander of a Legate to their support. But it only shows how chaotic the current situation on Crete is right now. I hope you manged to save yourself and the Evora Monte against the delusional commander? Keeping our people together is our main priority right now. So do not worry about such things for now, we have more pressing issues. The attack on Kurile is just one of them. I need you to focus on our missions, instead of bothering with the idiots of the Free Trade People. They are in no position to cause us any harm, so do not even acknowledge their existance.
Make your way to the Barcelona and report to senhor Axiotis. I will join you in a few days, I still have to take care of some political issues on Crete. I know I'm not telling you what you deserve to hear, but it will make more sense soon, believe me. All I do is for the greater good of Crete.
I hope to see you soon, on my side of the battlefield. Until then, good luck.
Evora Monte have joined up with Barcelona flotilia, and my escorts are currently performing tasks of commercial raiding in the wake of impending attack on Kurile; Miners are not the force to be triffled with. They are the same people that crushed Rheinland fleets in the Yanagi Pocket. We should never forget about that.
I am looking forward to fighting beside you.

Amparo Cortés.
