Greetings once again. My name is Ueno Kenta, of the Shimonoseki. I was once a former transport raider under Lord Kohaku, and fought alongside other soldiers like Kohaku Hokama and Tougen Haruo.
I have for a long time withdrawn myself from the active duties of the Blood Dragon banner, and have instead dedicated to fetch supplies and seek sources of essential materials to supply the Blood Dragons and other fighters against the regime in Kusari. The Shimonoseki group, branded with the name of our first raider transport from the Blood Dragons era, has done its humble duties in the shadow of the great Dragon.
I call to you once again to report something that has happened in Honshu. There are many communities of people who tired or alienated by the life in Kusari cities and planets, have taken to secluded space communities, hidden in the clouds or in far away points of the systems. These people live in solitude, relying on trusted merchants and avoiding contact with big companies or authorities, lest society come to impose their ways on the hermits. Most of these communities have set a network between them, calling it the Izu "Islands" Confederation.
We did our best to befriend them and establish relations with the Izu. In return, they allowed us access to one of their outposts, in Honshu. From there we would give them food and materials taken from Kusari, and store cargo traded by our network in the Sigmas and Rheinland, to be shipped back to Kyoto and Ainu.
With almost a year of careful cooperation, we found the gates to Izu shut to us, with our people inside being ordered to pack and leave. We were afraid that the police had stumbled upon the outpost and that they were about to be assaulted, but we were surprised that the ones who were going to compromise their outpost were Dragons, like we were.
I have heard of no talks about causing nuisance to the Izu, not even a whispered rumor of an attack. And yet they caught wind of heavy Dragon ships making their way to the Outpost.
We have lost considerable progress, which will be highly difficult to recover if the danger of a Blood Dragon attack becomes reality. I ask the Lords of the Blood Dragons for confirmation of this attack, and the reasons why there was no talk about it with the Izu, much less with anyone I know of.
