Sender: Commandant Pierre Vaillant Recipient: Crayter and Natio HC Subject: Enclave battleship in Tau-44
Bonjour follow...Crayterian and Natio Representatives
A large holographic image of Vaillant sitting on his command chair appeared. We could see the old Kingdom of Gallia emblem on the back of the chair as it was not facing the screen. Suddenly, the chair turned in a fast move towards the luminous screen showing up a determined Vaillant holding a glass of wine in his right hand.
I got no clue if we ever met already, I don't recall having talked with you already. Ah perhaps Natio Octavarium some weeks or months ago...Memory is failing me.
Anyway. I am the Commandant Vaillant of the Marine Nationale Gauloise. I am contacting in regards to a...sensitive matter.
Vaillant started to look annoyed, almost embarassed. Now he tries to hide this by speaking with angry.
I spent a very bad night. Oh non non non, don't be foolish enough to believe I am contacting you in order you help me to solve this problem. Here is the reason why. I have been informed yesterday evening that a rebel Enclave battleship named Renaissance managed to escape the Gallic Space almost undamaged. According to our intelligence, this vessel is now located in Tau-44 system which is I believe, a direct concern for both of us.
Don't try to understand how this could ever have happened. The more you will try to understand, the more you won't understand. I guess some Minarchist pilots have proven themselves incapable of handling this.
We need to coordinate together to eliminate this troublemaker. I got no doubts regarding the capability of your forces to handle this, however the Gallic Navy is eager to finish what they tried to do. We need your approval before sending any vessels in your controlled system of Tau-44. We can deploy a support squadron for this operation, nevertheless you have to set the terms.
Vaillant started to crack and even laugh while the holographic image was disappearing.
Marine Nationale Gauloise, Commandant Pierre Vaillant.

Subject: Enclave Battleship in Tau-44 Encryption:Orb Protocol, Variant 21 Location: OXS Be Still, Canberra Star City, Tau-44
Good day. Taskmaster Weaver, Octavarium Intelligence Commission. We have discussed the matter between the Fleet and Commission, and Natio Octavarium has no objections to this operation. Any Enclave reinforcements must be stopped. We will send what aid we can.
At this time, Natio Octavarium's concerns within the system are centered on the Makassar field. Based on our knowledge of the local jump anomalies, we don't expect this action to intersect with that field. As such, we will defer to Crayter regarding the terms of this operation.
Lisa Combes, Admiral of the Crayter Fleet and Chief Tactician for the Crayter Military. A pleasure, though I believe we've met before. Regardless.
If Confederal Naval intelligence believes that an Enclave warship has escaped to Tau-44, and has the assets to mobilize to remove it, then I'll ensure you have the proper clearance to operate in Tau-44 for the duration of your operation. Understand that the Crayter Republic has no remorse for the Enclave, and if your forces require additional aid, Carrier Group Argos can always detach a wing to assist. If your desire is to finish it yourself, then you may do so, but need an assurance that you will not lose an entire Enclave warship in our space, Commandant.
If you can square that away, then you have priority clearance.
Commodore James McKinnon, C.O. of Battleroup Hemera. A pleasure to meet you.
If Enclave has infiltrated a warship into Tau 44, that requires to be answered with heavy response. Provided Admiral Combes has no objections and assumed you require additional reinforcements, I will take the command of Crayter task force and be present with a Zephyr-Class Mark II Refit Carrier, designation Boreas to act as the command hub of combined forces. We can not let the said warship go into hiding once again.

You are correct, Admiral Combes. We already had the pleasure to speak before. I hope I'll have a similar pleasure to deal with you, Taskmaster and Commodore.
All your replies satisfy me so far. We must make the time into our favor. I already prepared a wing of bombers for this operation under the command of the battlecruiser La Rochelle. The Capitaine Florentin will be the leader of this small fleet. I regret not being able to dispatch more forces for this operation. Our main assets are deployed on other fronts. Obviously the cooperation between the Crayter Republic, Natio Octavarium and Gallia will ensure our chances of success.
Commodore McKinnon, I believe your carrier will be able to blow up the Enclave warship in no time. I believe you already know how to deal with them after so many years of war isn't it? Fortunately, they haven't changed their tactics. Therefore it should be an accessible task for your crew. The Capitaine Florentin will sure follow your orders, for his greater personal pleasure.
Last but not least, Tau-44 directly borders Enclave controlled space. You can consequently expect enclave reinforcements from directly Roussillon. Obviously, you already had added this into the equation ins't it?
Vaillant started to crack and even laugh while the holographic image was disappearing.
