It's a pleasure to address your nation's military, even if historically Crayter and Kusari haven't been the best of neighbors. My name is Lisa Combes, Fleet Admiral of the Crayter Military, and primary military tactician for the Crayter Republic's Ministry of Defense. I'm sure you're likely aware of the purpose of my transmission here, but I will reiterate it for consistency and documentation.
Within the last couple hours, one of our Military patrol units moved to investigate rumors of a Kusari mobilization into the Tau systems. While not entirely reassuring, considering the tenuous position of the Tau systems and Crayter's efforts in trying to stabilize the tau region, I can understand if Kusari has an interest in securing the Tau corridor. This does bring me to something I feel I should bring to your attention, however.
During the unit's patrol through Tau-31, he noted the presence of a Kusari Naval Battlecruiser, the Akatsuki, garrisoned within distance of the Jump Gate to the Tau-29 system. Because Tau-31 is recognized internationally as Crayter Core Space, I'm afraid this constitutes an infringement of our territory, and that the Kusari Naval Forces unfortunately has no legal right to station active duty warships within our space.
To this end, I would first like to ascertain what the Naval Forces' intentions are with Battlecruiser Akatsuki, and to attempt to coordinate with the Reformed Empire in helping to ensure civilian access for the Tau systems.
I am aware that Crayter and Kusari have not seen eye-to-eye in quite a time, but I still feel as if words are our best tool to mitigate conflict. The placement of your warship within Crayter space will undoubtedly bring concern to my people, and I hope we can solve this before it becomes a problem.

Hail, Fleet Admiral Lisa Combes. Your message comes at a fortuitous time, as it makes our work easier.
This is Vice Admiral Kurosawa Kado, acting commander of the 5th Fleet of the Kusari Naval Forces. Considering the circumstances, I have been assigned to transmit to you our requests.
The Kusari Naval Forces have begun a punitive expedition into the Taus, as a response to the constant state of chaos in the region due to prolonged wars, and the evident risks of such lawlessness spreading to our territories, as seen in recent events in Kyushu.
The KNF 5th Fleet has been ordered to secure the Tau corridor to Bretonia and Leeds, one of the few entities of trust remaining in the region. Even though we expect further cooperation with them in the future, its evident they are at this point unable to provide much strength in the upcoming pacification of the region.
However, in this system stand the Colonia-.... the Crayter Republic forces, which we cannot declare with supporting evidence to be trustworthy partners, as it stands.
Therefore, in the interest of the fulfilment of our duties, we must request that the Crayter Forces vacate the Tau-31 corridor within the next days. The installation of Barra Anchorage must be surrendered to the KNF forces, and it's crew evacuated, and any space forces of Crayter withdrawn from the system.
Alternatively, the Crayter Republic can state it's unwillingness to arise conflict with Kusari, and submit itself to negotiations with the Empire of Kusari. Should your leadership desire to proceed in such way, may it send a plea for negotiations to the Reformed Empire of Kusari Cabinet within the next hours.
Crayter Forces that fail to abide by those options will be treated as disrupters of Kusari operations, and marked as hostile targets for neutralization or capture.
I apologize for my bluntness and likely disrespectful nature, but Tau-31 belongs to the citizens of the Crayter Republic, as recognized by international law and as enshrined in the Crayter Legal Code. While I respect the Kusari Empire's dedication to ensuring the security of the Tau Region, I'm afraid that on behalf of my people I will refuse your request. The Barra Crossroads are fully under Crayter protection, as are any traders and other civilian ships that pass through them. Tau-31 is Crayter space, and infringement of such as you have done with your Battlecruiser Akatsuki does not bode well for any international cooperation. Crayter is, again, more than welcome to the enterprise of working with Kusari to end the outlaw reign within the Taus, but this effective invasion of our space needs to end.
Respectfully, remove the Akatsuki's division from our space or there will be international consequences to these actions. I'm making a risky play by being respectful, Vice Admiral. Do not make me regret it.
