Born on Planet Denver growing up in a middle class family, Charlotte grew up becoming a rather carefree. slow type that had nothing much to complain in life, mayhaps a bit too carefree as she lacked clear orientation what to do in her life in first place. Only taking one little job after another, with eventually taking up flight lessons to work as a security agent and escort pilot for Universal Shipping, Charlotte finally got something she would strive for after feeling a kick out of protecting people and standing up against any waiting megalomaniacs in space, which would lay harm on anyone around with their preying eyes.
Motivation spiked even more after her uncle - which later became one of her biggest idols and worked as mentor, returned as a war veteran from the Liberty-Rheinland War telling his tales of heroic deeds for Liberty, which she listened to excitingly every time they met. Dreaming now of following a similar career path as her uncle and to further improve her flight skills she enlisted at West Point Academy to become a fighter pilot for the navy. At around the same time war sparked in Bretonia as the Gauls invaded and new pilots were in big demand for the Navy. Taking it on herself to be one of the next generations pilots, even though in the end not making it in time enough to be assigned there. However while studying and getting trained at West Point, under supervision during her first sorties on navy patrol she has shown potential standing her ground against several preying Liberty Rogues Wolfhounds taking them down in a clean sweep without any casualties with her wing she has proven to value comradeship and wise decision making, besides being a bit slow at first at deciding things.
Slowly but surely is a motto she often follows, but which might make her a bit inflexible at times, some negative traits about her she strifes to overcome, same as her carefreeness. Still being quite the learner type she grew aware well to operate snubcraft sized vessels of any class and got transferred after graduating to the second fleet as a reservist. She even took courses to become an officer of larger sized capital vessels and learnt basic operations among them being trained with said equipment, but it quickly turned out, that her preferred way is to take action in a more direct matter on the field under fighter wings. Spending mostly her times behind enemy lines to protect the heart of Liberty she got behind all sorts of duty matters, from smuggling interdiction, to regular patrols and at times striking on pirate depots.
Time went by as the war ended with Gallia and a new era of change was on the horizon for Liberty. Trying to go professinal finally after some deliberation deciding at last to give a new fleet a shot to make her big career and thus she signed up for fleet evaluation courses eventually joining with the fifth fleet. Hearing of the heroic deeds of the fleet and their battles over New London and Leeds inspired her to take it wanting to cooperate with some of Liberty's finest pilots, ironically though as this Fleet was originally intended after reforming for military police efforts. Quickly coming under the radar of the admirality due to her quick good looking efforts on the field and her given pre-history duty in another field she enjoyed a rather quick promotion to higher officer ranks. Still she didn't serve in a war and always tries to remind her to be humble, leaving with her with a rather open minded free spirited persona she hides under a responsive serious mask when on duty. Eventually ending up chosen as the replacement for a new CO after getting properly trained and evaluated, Charlotte got assigned under the recent applied Accelerated Capital Command program under the command of her first warship the LNS Des Moines. The relatively recently out of the batch coming state of the art Battlecruiser was recently transferred to the fleet, as the old CO retired and replacement was needed. She saw it as a sign, both being fresh stars part of a new generation, besides being the type to rather sit in a fighter, however as she climbed the ladder she found herself more stuck in office duty and with that she wanted atleast to try out something new.
Nowadays Charlotte Wilkes enjoys a bright career as an experienced fighter pilot and promising Commander of a state of the art warship of the Navy, commanding smaller task forces and strikecraft groups on the field. Seeing that her uncle retired after 25 years of proud service she looked at herself seeing in herself the newer generation taking the torch. During her time in the fleet she made new contacts and friends, aswell as having admiration in some new role models, such as her new mentor Admiral Nazawo Ayato which took closer looks on her after promising sorties and giving extended training to exceed even further, setting up new records. Also another person she idolizes secretly as tends to be a bit more secretive on her true feelings, because of her duty, she very enjoyed cooperating together with Admiral Nicole Prower which she looks up to after seeing her operating on the field and during more civil meetings. Whatever will await the other day, tracing back to what she achieved puts a smile as she stares on a family photo with her being together with her uncle, while standing next to some displayed Defender's during an airshow.

LNS Des Moines Information
Commissioned in 825 AS being part of a fresh batch of next generation Battlecruisers for the Liberty Navy, the LNS Des Moines is a state of the art warship with cutting edge combat systems, electronics, power plant and sensorics. Including latest offence and defence systems available for the "Interdictor"-class combined with uprated triple hulled plating armour, the warship is equipped for any possible situation. Be it securing key areas in fast deployment, spearheading maneuvers, deploying small task forces for reconnaissance and precision strikes in a fast manner, the Des Moines is well prepared for the battlefield.
With a freshly trained crew the vessel got deployed for rear guard duties, protecting supply lines to the frontline in Bretonia, aswell as patrolling the western border, the Des Moines found little engagement against the Gallic Crown, but rather ended up busy fending off local unlawful forces preying on the valuable cargo convoys trespassing, or interdicting cardamine smugglers trying their run through the western independent systems.
Even after the war the vessel remained under this duty for a brief time, until they got reordered for reorganization and repairments for three months. The former Commander resigned and the ship was sent to the reserve, until transferred to the the fifth fleet where replacement was found with a freshly trained Navy Commander Charlotte Wilkes found worthy after evalutation to take command over the ship. She is currently supervisioned by other seasoned officers of the fleet to be well prepared for the future taking over on her own entirely. The Des Moines is tasked for several military policing duties around Liberty, containing space piracy and any illicit activities nearby they key trade routes to secure the house's economical interests.
Under her command it quickly turned out that the Des Moines overcome several engagements against Rogue raiding groups involving taking down a small pirate cruiser and claiming victories in the Coronado system, where outcast forces dispatch small strike groups of their infamous destroyer vessels. Preferring on responding quickly with small fighter wings, eager to dive into any engagement when needed, the Des Moines can carry limited amount of space wings to repel snubcraft groups.
These days the LNS Des Moines continues a proud service in safekeeping Liberty, being always prepared against any potential threats laying harm on Liberty and her people.

Kudos to you as your forum work in terms of design always raises quality around here and well isn't there a saying going like "Copying is the highest form of flattery"?
