Mission Difficulty

Hi
I have been playing Discovery for some time now,doing missions and earning money but whenever I take a mission
for 1,000000 or above instead of enemy fighters i get large enemy ships which my Super Heavy Fighter can barely
touch with its weapons,I can only damage their shields by about a third before I am blown to smithereens.
My question is what sort of ship do I need to do these missions?,I have tried Gunboats,Bombers,Gunships all to
no avail,can anybody give me some advice please?

Hey, Vardek,

Try about 800.000k max for start with the Super Heavy Fighter, 1.200.000kk missions are doable too, but you must strafe hard and hit them hard too. From 1.200.000k up to 2.200.000k there is possible gunboat spawn (at 2.2kk for sure). You can do those with cruiser for sure win (and armor upgrade). 3.000.000kk up -> cruisers, battlecruisers and battleships and sometimes swarm of gunboats. Cruisers are the hardest to kill even if you fly battleship -> they die very easy with Hurrricanes though.

Start from the lowest one and go up (nod)

It depends on the Faction, i mean, you would not see a GC Deploying Crusier Kind ships so try get the "easy" factions don't have a crusier and you can just probably find Fighters or even Gunboats
