Case number: n°0███ Case status:COMPLETE - TRIAL RESULT: EXECUTION in absentia
Name: Esther Cardin D.O.B.: 12/01/808 A.S. Nationality:Previously Gallic, stateless [LOSS OF CITIZENSHIP]. Status:Alive, formerly considered M.I.A. Rank:Lieutenant [DEMOTED] Allegiance:Gallic Royalists remnants, formerly the Gallic Navy Recommended approach:Treat as hostile combatant.
Ex-Lieutenant Esther Cardin is a rogue officer from the Gallic Navy. After a leading classified strike against potential Royalists remnants in the Roussillon system, Ms. Cardin went MIA. Most of the strike team was KIA or otherwise MIA. She was initially hailed as a hero for the Gallic Union for continuing the combat against the remaining Royalists, she was awarded posthumously.
She, however, reappeared in the Orkney system, with a ship bearing "Royalist" IFF. This incident was reported but swiftly discarded as an error in identification.
Esther Cardin appeared again in the Tau-37 alongside multiple rogue officers, claiming to be here to "reinstate the King and his Kingdom". Her awards were removed, her rank of Lieutenant removed, and she was condemned in absentia to death for high treason.
Comments registered during trials cannot be used a tangible proof against or for officers.

Honestly, this is such a shame. We saw many officers suddenly leaving, some disappearing forever, some magically reappearing with hostile IFFs. She's one of them. She was one of the top at the Compiègne Military Academy, and while she was not the best fighter we've ever seen, she was still one of the best.
