Guten Abend.
We didn't get a chance to chat before the glorious Rheinwehr dropped an entire squadron on our heads. Hope you made it out alright.
The name's Kurt. Don't take the university activism comments to heart - I was just poking a bit of fun. In truth, despite being out on the fringes, I've an interest in political change in Rheinland, myself.
The way I see it, we can help each other out, as fellow Rheinlanders on the wrong side of the law. If you're willing to entertain the idea of working together, let me know. We can discuss it in person.

Esteemed Mr. Weinbaum,
comments like these are part of the routine we endure on a regular basis, they have not been part of the equation to offend us for a long time.
I am curious to hear how you and your group intend to find a mutually fulfilling understanding. I cannot judge how much you know about the Bundschuh or the New Resistance Movement, but most of us prefer to abstain from piracy.
This approach has often afforded us a lenient approach with the executive branch of the Rheinland regime in the past. The citizens and workers of Rheinland also appreciate not being robbed by those who talk about promising freedom.
But if you have an alternative proposal, I look forward to hearing it.
With regards,
Paul Botzler

Good morning.
I'm sure you understand that the well-being of the regular citizens and workers of Rheinland is the last thing in the minds of the crusty corporate socks vying for the Emperor's ear. But they do understand the bottom line.
Now, I'm not gonna justify my organization's misdeeds. We take what we can to survive - and if a stubborn captain refuses the deal he's offered, it brings me no joy to reduce his ship to scrap. It's unfortunate, but it hurts the taxmen in the only way they care about.
Not sure how well your "lenient approach" is working out if the Rheinwehr's willingness to pursue your ship is anything to go by. Of course, the military is full of overzealous youths with too much to prove - it could have been an unfortunate misunderstanding when they gave the order to detain you.
Again, don't take this the wrong way. I am... sympathetic to your organization's goals. My reasons for cooperation may be personal and my methods questionable - but I'm being straight with you here. We can help, or at least not hinder each other.
If you still want to discuss this, let's meet up. Freeport 8 in Sigma-15 - I'm sure you know the way.
