Liberty Navy 46th Fleet Security Clearance: < GRANTED >
Sender ID: Rear Admiral Shepard
Receiver: 5th Fleet R&D Department
Subject: Crayter Carrier Prototype
Good Evening,
I am sure by now you have noticed the Crayter Carrier sitting at Norfolk, I have ordered the shipyard to lower Drydock five's privacy screen to prevent prying eyes from seeing it but obviously word will spread. Through good relations with the Crayterians we were able to requisition one in exchange for supplies routed to Sabah Shipyard. I was hoping if you could spare a few engineers to get this project off the ground. I know you had assisted the 46th Fleet Admiral with the Anchorage so I figured you might be interested in helping me with my endeavor. I eagerly await your response.
In Service To The Republic.

Tidings, ma'am.
Commodore Kingston here, with the Fifth Fleet. I believe we've had business before, specifically concerning modernization of L.N.S. Vermont. As before, while I am not the head of the Fleet's R&D Department, I can speak on their behalf.
I'd firstly like to apologize for the delay in this response. Matters concerning in-field command, foreign military correspondence, and even national security took precedence, Admiral. I'm sure you understand.
You're correct in that seeing a Zephyr moored with Norfolk's berth was quite unexpected. While I've had considerable history flying alongside them in action, this was always accompanied by the usual field activities. You're also quite right that R&D would relish the opportunity to work on such a platform, especially if it is planned for field deployment.
I'll have several engineers, and even some scientists if you are willing, assigned to the project under joint command. I look forward to seeing what this ship will be capable of once it's been given the full Liberty go-around.
Sincerely,
Alexander Samuel Kingston
