If we want a field to have multiple characteristics (drag field, radiation damage, sensor efficiency reduction), the game will pick one and not play the others. In some cases it'll play another after the first, such as in Pi near the AI minefield where the radiation damage + sensor efficiency reduction + minefield warning sounds overlap from different fields.
In other words - feature, not a bug. I have removed the sensor efficiency reduction from the AI minefield in Pi, though. It caused issues with the wreck looting.
