I hope this finds you well.
I am Addison Reynolds, Secretary to the Crayter Republic's Quorum of Ministers. As the matter I'd like to bring up effects all facets of the Republic, the Ministers have asked that I relay their concerns here.
For nearly six years now, LNS Yellowstone and her cadre have been deployed to Coronado to coordinate alongside the Military in securing the system and providing defense for the Cortez Gate project. While the Military has gained great insights from working alongside their comrades in the Liberty Navy directly, and our people have remained safe in their conscience with an experienced battlegroup stationed in orbit, the Ministers believe that the Republic is well capable of taking over the arduous task of ensuring the gate connection to Cortez, and allowing our allies to redeploy her to other theatres that she will be needed in.
The Quorum of Ministers understands that Liberty may feel hesitant, given the investment placed into Crayter space by the Cortez Gate project. Thus, we would like to suggest a brief deployment to Scottsdale Station in orbit of the new Jump Gate for perhaps a month or two to allow the Military to transition in, and then a final departure to Cortez once the Military has acquainted itself with the role of defense in regards to the Jump Gate.
We wish to be clear, that Crayter very much understands the responsibility it is looking for, and we are confident the Military is more than capable of undertaking that same duty that each other house in Sirius has in keeping the gate/lane network flowing. Crayter is open to discussions regarding the Yellowstone's redeployment, as well as potentially supplementing her departure with localized Navy garrisons aboard Scottsdale, among other potential factors. Liberty remains our ally, and we wish to remain amicable in all matters.
In service to the Republic.
