Greetings Guild Members,
I am Ned Reed, the current administrator of Falster Station, and I am pleased to inform you that Falster is now fully operational in Omega 7, complete with the necessary refinery installation.
Blue-The Location of Falster. Red-Mining zone location.
Our operations will involve processing both silver from Omega-7 and diamonds from Omega-11. While diamonds yield higher profits, they come with increased risks due to radiation and the presence of direct adversaries such as the Corsairs and rival corrupt corporations. These factors may pose challenges to our mining efforts. It's crucial to note that there are pockets of explosive gas on the way to the Omega-11 jump hole.
Blue-Omega-7 hole to mining zone and back. Red-Possible way of flying around the asteroids and spending less time in the radiation zone.
These pockets can disable your shields, although the hull damage is minimal. Additionally, when venturing into Omega-11, be cautious of the radiation and the intense heat from the sun, which may result in substantial hull damage if proper care is not taken. Exercise vigilance to ensure the safety of our operations in both Omega-7 and Omega-11.
In terms of mining and organizing ore shipments, the Annapurna continues to be the most optimal miner for group transports. However, a new innovation in the form of mining containers (//OOR provides an additional bonus to mining speed and drops cargo in clumps of 500, as ore takes up 2 units of cargo space.)
The mining process has been streamlined by miners still operating in Dublin, following these steps:
1. The miner enters the mining zone, deploys the container (drop the container from your cargo, select it, and start mining), and begins using the mining array to extract ore from the field.
2. The mining container expels the ore when filled. The transport/s then tractor the ore and, when filled, fly directly to Falster. Meanwhile, the miner continues mining without interruption.
3. After the transport drops off the ore for refinement, they return to the field, where there should be enough ore for an instant return trip.
The recommended ratio of miner to transport is 1 to 3 for Omega-11, the ratio is 1 to 4 transports due to the larger distance. (//OOR one miner to three transports with our mining bonus, but this may vary for independent miners for there bonus is lesser)
For guild members who wish to contribute but cannot join our group mining operations, the process remains standard with one important change. The venerable Hegemon should be replaced by the Nanga Parbat, as it not only has better cargo capacity but also enhances our overall efficiency.
(//OOR It is smaller and has better mining arks then the Hegemon.)
During our mining operation we may be joined by Kongsi Syndicate they are also IMG but you may see them in hessian ships as they are also guild members you have nothing to fear from them if they are providing escorting/protection you could donate f they ask. We all know that the Red hessians operate in the Omegas do not associate with them if there are any house law representative near it goes without saying a donation to there cause would help them and us.
(//OOR House laws are only valid in house space so Rhineland lawfuls can not demand you follow them in the omegas our laws are valid they are out of date so we will be working on them. Be on the look out for Kruger, Daumann and BMM ships they can pirate us in the system.)
That is all my fellow guild members I hope to see you on Falster soon.
