We would also like an update on the anomaly within the destroyed jump gate in Dublin. If you remember, we've allowed your researchers to have a look at it. Have they made any progress there?
I can confirm that our operatives had engaged with the Bretonian convoy as their escorts refused to surrender, but it seems their transport had taken shelter within Sigma-17 if I were to guess from the escorts scouting ahead. While almost all of the escorts were destroyed, there was no visual on the merchant vessels themselves.
We suspect that the Core are doing their usual - selling off alien technologies to augment other forces for their own profit. The reliability of their gear remains in question, whether Gammu or Nomads, they do not possess the full knowledge to properly yield these delicate works. If I were to wager a guess based on trends, the Core is going to try and expand their market into the two fragile houses, Rheinland and Bretonia to try and win bids on weapon development contracts.

As for the anomaly... We're still assessing the data in connection to other anomaly activities occurring in the sector. From what we can determine, this is a "wound" in hyperspace, a scar that is fluctating from the sudden destabilization of the jumphole tunnel improperly resealing itself and was recently made worse from the Buro's hyperspace experiments in Rheinland.
What will it do? It's not certain yet, all of these variables depend on another. It could collapse in and spew out hypercharged dark matter. It could form another rift, it could fluct shift and disturb the local holes. It could form a stellar nebula, mixing from the otherwordly elements in that hyperspatial plane. It could attract alien automative defences. It could also simply seal itself up again.
All of this will entirely depend upon the fate of a certain alien site that I've eagerly been watching. And I pray to the /stars/ that the idiotic Order or Libertonians do not try to destroy it. Sadly, due to the lack of manpower, resources and perhaps even allies, that prayers are all we have left in this sector. It's only going to get worse from here on across the Sector. I anticipate another great blackout in the future.
But luckily for some of us who are relying on such chaos against oppressive regimes, this is a timely opportunity to take advantage of to undermine their influence and stability.

Very well. By this point, only the greedy or the desperate dare get close to the gate wreck. Our people continue to watch it, and their data is similarly inconclusive. Keep us updated on developments within this alien site you mentioned. If it is connected somehow, then there could be an important sign to start evacuating from Dublin. It's not so unthinkable in the face of possible dark matter-related annihilation.

On a related note about the anomalies. Please ensure the individual "Caliban" - his associates such as Bonito, Rebecca Harper, his drones ED-1, ED-2 so forth --- and any associated "BDM" vessels are not permitted to approach the gate anomaly. Their meddling affairs have only made the hyperspatial planes worse. They will only endanger your people in their persuit of power.
It's a long story, but, to put it shortly, the BDM have been experimenting, and one of these experiments have set off a terrible fate of awakening some alien sites. And Caliban has been closely working with them, alongside compromising himself with the Nomads. He also works for the Core. They're looking to exploit these scars for research, and the Buro are very much interested in developing weapons or weaknesses to hold over others. It is unfortunate, but that is how it goes. If you want more details, we will have to talk at another date -- there is a lot going on at the moment that requires immediate attention, so for now I can only ask of you as a favour for all our sakes.
Now, the devices will be done within the week, I will keep you posted of their status. It's half way done already.
