Esteemed collegue of the Kusari Naval Intelligence,

I am part of the department of Signal Intelligence of the KOI. The exhibits you presented are indeed disturbing. In the line of our mission it is of utmost importance you tell us how you acquired the footage and more importantly tell us or me in this case who else knows of this.

Moreover, I believe our missions align. We are investigating the Republic of Liberty; to be more precise: Liberty Security Force and Liberty Navy presence in the Omicrons. Officially we are surveying, so that the LSF does not catch onto us. If I am not mistaken, you have seen '1st|ONI-Ptah' firsthand. It is part of the Navy, not LSF, which is what disturbs us greatly. Liberty has greatly increased the number of military vessels assigned to the Edge Worlds. However, local forces such as the Order, the Core, the AI or even the Zoners hinder their expansion given that they naturally lay claim on the Omicrons.

Which brings us to the RNC-Einbeck. We have access to more detailed scans of the RNC-Einbeck, which I will grant you access to, since the Einbeck apparently is the Naval Forces' problem aswell now.

Tactical Intel

Note the Havok-class Liberty Cruiser turrets and Minified Spyglass Scanner mounted. The Havok-class Liberty turrets are Libertonian technology while the Minified Spyglass Scanner is a (Ageira-derived) Lane Hacker design. The Cruiser Positron Shield protects it from Rheinland and Kusari Tachyon and Neutron weaponry. An unconventional loadout.

Signal Intelligence and KOI believe the RNC-Einbeck to be a restored wreck from the Sigma graveyards enhanced with legally and less legally procured Libertonian technology, courtesy to the LSF. Targeted infection of Rheinland convicts make up most of the crew. Although, it may now be reinforced with some unfortunate souls who fell victim to the Einbeck's raids.

With the RNC-Einbeck sowing chaos in the Sigmas and Omicrons, the houses of Rheinland and Kusari find themselves in a difficult position when trying to enter the Omicrons safely. That combined with the Einbeck's raids, which weaken local forces, it is only a matter of time until the Omicrons are in the firm claws of the Libertonian eagle.

As for the 'Musashi', there is no information available to us about that vessel. But its appearance might not be coincedental.

I suggest working together. Since we have two infected vessels on our hands now, it might be best to share these findings with Rheinland to combine our efforts against Liberty. Ensuring Kusari's continued access to the Edge will require a joint effort to isolate and destroy as many Nomads and LSF vessels as possible.

We are truly grateful for your service and cooperative stance on the matter. It is not all too uncommon for KOI units to despise working together with us remnants of the Naval Intelligence purely over past incidents revolving around the Civil War Era. We are glad to see you stand above past grudges and focus on serving the Empire just as we do.

Your detailed report about the RNC-Einbeck is incredibly helpful, although it appears the thralls managed to adopt the vessels system to operate with a wide array of weapon systems. The witness report - which is also the origin of this guncam picture - spoke about standard Rheinland issued weaponry. We have reason to believe that the witnesses vessel was targeted in Sigma-17 and then Omicron Delta for a specific reason. The Captain of the merchant vessel was identified to have ties to upper echelons of our Imperial Diet. The KNI is convinced that a data leak occurred and the RNC-Einbeck specifically tried to subdue the vessel in an attempt to infiltrate our political landscape. Its destruction has become such high priority that we, as division attached to the regular Naval Forces, felt the need to get involved.

In regards to the ominous IKN-Musashi, we are not surprised you have no recordings about it. The vessel should not exist. Neither should have the IKN-Himeji, although this particular vessel was identified following the surprising reveal of a Tokugawa hull in Chrysanthemum possession. We urge you to remain on distance should the vessel be spotted until we received details from the data vaults of Heaven's Gate. This might take a long while and will require the involvement of my superiors.

The presence of Liberty Navy Operatives operating in similar fashion to the KNI whilst deploying Order type technology is a worrisome development. Although this particular Operative appears like an amateur, potential ties between them and the Order require further studies. Perhaps the Core has additional information on this matter.
