The Red Front is a militarized branch within the greater Red Hessian movement that focuses on deploying heavy assets and accomplishing large-scale operations using sheer firepower. The Front strongly harkens back to the founding ideals of old, without which the Hessian movement would inevitably turn on itself and fall into dissolution. Despite this, hessian recruits from all walks of life have potential to be accepted within their ranks, from brigands to simple workers, idealists or political dissidents, the ideological element will be instilled without falter in all of the members.
The Red Hessian movement is intertwined with the turbulent history of the Dresden System. Once the crown-jewel of Rheinland's mining operations, the industrial behemoths of the house, namely Daumann and Kruger, had their workers and miners subjected to very harsh conditions and out-right exploitation.
Vogtland
The heart of the Hessian movement
The early seeds of hessian rebellion were sown as a response to the lack of political representation for the working class and the growing economic disparities in the heavily industrialized Rheinland. At the very dawn of the 700s A.S., the ever-growing discontent of Dresden's working class reached a boiling point when the disgruntled workers and miners left their stations and organized into a loosely-knit resistance movement known as the Red Hessians. The early activities of the rebellion included sabotage, targeted strikes against corporate shipping lanes and constant raids on the corporate facilities that wronged them. While initially the operations were conducted primarily in the Dresden system, the Hessians expanded to establish hidden bases in inhospitable asteroid fields in adjacent systems, like Freital and Ronneburg, where they could evade the reach of the Rheinland authorities.
As the poor working conditions on Kruger and Daumann facilities continued to swell the Hessian ranks, so did their reputation for daring attacks and guerrilla warfare tactics spread, quickly becoming a significant thorn in the side of Rheinland's big corporations by actively disrupting supply lines and economic activities in the region.
The Omegas Front
In order to secure more ground and resources far away from the military's prying eyes, expansion into the Omegas soon followed with the random discovery of the Omega-11 jump hole in 709 A.S. by a Dresden recon patrol. During 712 A.S. Freital was established as a key logistic base to further Hessian interests in the region and launch raids on Rheinland corporate mining operations across the Omegas, with a particular focus on Daumann diamond extraction. Soon after, the Omega-5 system connection was discovered, and with it came the first contact with the Corsairs. Originally, both factions ignored each other, which allowed for the Hessians to establish Ronneburg in 724 A.S. The asteroid base was initially intended to be a major staging point for Hessian raids into Omega-3 and Omega-7, but instead was gradually turned into "the last gate to hell" as known throughout its inhabitants ranks. Beginning with the year 731 A.S., a series of conflicts begun erupting between the two major unlawful factions over liberated cargo passing through the Rheinland-Bretonia trade route. These minor scuffles combined with a passive hostility attitude continued for over a period of 9 years until 740 A.S., when a breaking point was reached, starting one of the bloodiest wars in Sirius history.
With Omega-5 suddenly becoming an all out warzone, so did Ronneburg turn into the very frontline and the focal point of Hessian defenses. This lasted for a few years, until the Corsair siege subsided and the Rheinlanders' counter offensive managed to push the frontline back towards the system's center. With the raging war lasting in a stalemate for over 90 years now , the constant battles would turn this region of Omega-5 from an asteroid field into a large, relatively open area full of scattered wreckage, armed mines and disabled ships known by name as the Hammen Hole. Despite all of this, Ronneburg remains to this day the most important supply and defense base for the Hessians in the Omegas, ensuring a powerful presence in the system and a stable launching pad for Hessian pilots raiding into Bretonia.
In 810 A.S. the Corsair-Hessian war took to another level with the stabilization of a jumphole linking Omega-5 and Omega-48. Although the Corsairs had already established an earlier foothold with Casablanca station in the remote system, the Hessians wasted no time invading and capturing the base within the span of a year. At the same Planet Tangier, which was originally surveyed by the Corsairs, fell under Hessian control shortly after the Casablanca success. By early 815 A.S. the Rheinlanders entrenched themselves even more in the system by constructing the Viernheim station, which served as a logistics base for operations in the system as well as assisting in Tangier's docking ring construction.
Viernheim Station wreck orbiting over Planet Tangier
Casablanca remained in Hessian hands until early 819 A.S., when the Corsairs decided to mount an overwhelming offensive to retake the base and once again safeguard their vital supply lines towards Bretonia and Dublin.
Although Casablanca was a major loss, spirits were once again revitalized in 824 A.S. with Planet Tangier's docking ring becoming fully functional, marking eight years of hard work since the start of its development under constant Corsair counter attacks. As the ease of supplying basic necessities to the planet and transferring minerals off-world to Viernheim increased, so did the importance of the planet's orbital processing facility. By 827 A. S. the Corsairs, aware of the fact, doubled down in their efforts to overwhelm the Hessian garrison, mirroring the Casablanca campaign 8 years earlier. Viernheim came under heavy fire from an overly-aggressive Battleship Fes and its escorts, but unlike the previous successful operation in the system, the Hessians were not alone. The Coalition Carrier Alvin Katz was deployed to fight in unison with the station's garrison, and although much of it was decimated during the brutal fight, the day was won in the end with Fes having to retreat having taken substantial damage. The celebrations wouldn't last as the base suddenly suffered a catastrophic explosion, rendering it a total wreck. In their cowardice, seeing that the battle was lost, the Corsair boarding parties who initially aimed to take control over the station, planted and detonated explosives in a last ditch effort to deliver a heavy blow to the Hessians.
Ultimately, the loss of Viernheim was the last nail in the coffin for the Hessian presence in Omega-48. With Planet Tangier now at the edge of their supply lines, imminent expectations of constant Corsair retaliations and with no real immediate economic benefit, the high command decided against rebuilding another orbital processor. Despite this, the Hessians wouldn't just throw all their historic efforts away. Thus, by mutual agreement, the administration of the planet was left to the Coalition, who gladly entrenched themselves given the proximity to their home-system and with the Carrier Alvin Katz already in the orbit.
The Heartland
Beginning with 818 A.S. the Red Hessians achieved the first major objective in liberating Dresden with the destruction of the local police HQ on Pirna and subsequent occupation of Leipzig. By 824 A.S. the system was fully under the worker's control, with all corporations expelled and only a military garrison remaining guard over the New Berlin jump gate. This resounding success was shortly followed by yet another in fully capturing the Koln system and entirely driving out the Military and Bounty Hunter forces in the area at the beginning of the Rheinland civil war.
Not everything in the Heartland involved the Military, during 826 A.S. the tenuous pact with the Unioners would come to an abrupt end. For years they had conducted a careful balancing act of smuggling both hessian diamonds and Cretan artefacts. With evidence of this scheme, the Hessians boarded Krefeld Base in Koln claiming to hunt political dissidents and summarily executed all the corsair traders on the station. In the same year the Unioners, still unaware their deception was fully exposed, called for the combined Coalition & Hessian forces to aid them into a joint strike of Hamburg's Vierlande in an effort to free its prisoners. While the operation was successful, little did they realize it was all a carefully planned trap, with the Hessian-Coalition force suddenly turning on the Unioners during the celebrations. The aftermath ended in the destruction of the Union's flagship, the Undine, with simultaneous attacks wrecking the Wedel Station, leaving no survivors. To this day, the Unioners became staunch adversaries of the Hessians, going to great lengths to stop their movement into northern Rheinland and disrupting operations house-wide, including their diamond smuggling routes.
This golden period for the worker's movement would be short lived though and the Hessians were brought crashing back down with the Holstein peace accords between the Imperials and the Federalists. With the newly reunified government preparing to launch a decisive offensive to retake Koln, the Hessians had little hope to hold the system any longer and chose instead to hastily abandon it by 828 A.S.
Battleship Strausberg wreck in the aftermath of the Dresden invasion
In 832 A.S. the Military had set its eyes on Dresden, with Battleship Strausberg spearheading the operation. The Hessian forces were aware of the inevitable invasion but they did not expect the diversionary maneuver by the Military 4th Strike Flotilla into the heavily defended perimeter of the Giftnebel. Although the Rheinland flotilla's attack near Vogtland was repelled incurring heavy losses, the action itself was successful in pinning down the Kassel Battlegroup as planned. By the time Kassel reached the Strausberg, both Bautzen and Leipzig were lost. Initially, the Hessian counter-attack against the retreating Military force inflicted heavy damage on the Strausberg but, as the fight went on, the larger Rheinland fleet steadily begun to overwhelm their smaller opponents. The premature launch of the Kassel after the damage it suffered during the Koln retreat skirmish with Battleship Altenburg didn't help the situation, as the mammoth's patchwork repairs inevitably started to buckle under the strain, losing its ability to maneuver while being torn asunder by smaller capital ships. Although the Hessian's flagship was disabled, enough damage was dealt to the Strausberg's reactor plating to be easily targeted by the Thor bomber squadrons, leading to a critical meltdown of the battleship's engines. Incapacitated, orders were given by the Military to scuttle the ship in an effort to prevent it from falling into enemy hands.
Present Times
Despite the recent losses and drawbacks, the present day Red Hessian movement is still a force to be reckoned with. Between continuously fighting the Corsair Imperio to a standstill in the Omegas, systematically spreading their influence into Bretonia, all while maintaining a large share of power in the Rheinland underground, the Hessians maintain their status as the third largest unlawful faction in the Sirius sector after the Hispanic nations. Although the constant influx of new recruits bolstering their ranks is essential for the movement's survival, it has become an unexpected issue due to the overcrowding of Vogtland. With Freital and Ronneburg unsuited to house the ever-increasing population, the command is now focused on finding suitable alternatives.
Hessian raiding party targeting trade lanes in New Berlin's Harzfeld
In terms of economy, the military invasion of Dresden wrecked significant damage on the remaining hessian infrastructure in the system. With Leipzig gone, the movement makes use of whatever they can scrape off the largely depleted resource fields.
One critical component of the movement's economy remains the mining of diamonds, particularly the ones nicknamed "Hessian Tears". Found only in Dresden's Schwefelnebel, the unique conditions of the cloud coupled with the inability of Kruger to mine the area, allows the Hessians a sole monopoly of these very rare diamonds.
With the current poor state of their home-system aside, the Hessians still make use of their other traditional sources of income to stay afloat, namely the constant piracy of trade routes from Rheinland going to Bretonia, Kusari and Gallia, coupled with the smuggling of cheap black market munitions sourced from Kaiserslautern, courtesy of the Bundschuh.
Although the military eventually retreated out of Dresden, the main threat to Vogtland shifted to the Corsairs. The Cretans, smelling blood, punched through Frankfurt to establish a forward raiding position in the system with Battlegroup Penitence. Now, for the first in 2 years, the Hessians have taken the initiative to launch a massive counter offensive against the Corsairs in Omega-41 and draw the savages out of Dresden. Operations are now underway, spearheaded directly from Battleship Zuschen with aid of newly formed brigades launching from Freital.
Die Rote Front, or Red Front, has emerged as a natural response to the increased presence of Corsair Imperio's capital fleets along the Omega frontlines. The faction was formed by an assembly of tight-knit and battle-hardened Hessian commanders to be a militarized and disciplined group with a strict but fair approach. United by a common vision harkening back to the ideals of old, the leaders of the Red Front took it upon themselves to spearhead the Hessians' ambitions within the Edge Worlds and finally bring about the Volksrevolution in Rheinland proper.
Rotfront flotilla disabling a corsair battleship in Omicron Theta
The Front, just like the greater Hessian movement, is a symbol of hope for the disillusioned working class and stands in defiance to the oppressive imperialistic powers and corporate interests that dominate Rheinland's political landscape. Although the faction makes use of any individual willing to join their ranks, from self-centered brigands and pirates to visionaries and simple men looking to create a better future for their families, it remains steadfast in maintaining a cohesive unit that strives to accomplish its goals. Despite this diverse background of its members, the Hessian Front holds the ideological element in high regard, aiming to instills the founding ideals of the movement into every eager recruit.
The faction's headquarters and place of birth is Vogtland, with the nearby Wolfsburg Shipyard serving as the launching and maintenance base for the Front's flotilla. The chain of command is fragmented, operating with a high degree of autonomy, employing heavy assets and deep knowledge of southern Sirius to disrupt and dismantle enemy operations, with the end goals of breaking the Corsairs' foothold in the Omega systems, and ultimately, to ignite the revolution that will overthrow the oppressive and corrupt government of Rheinland and bring justice and equality to its people.
Break the Corsair Imperio's back on the Omega front and secure the region's resources;
The total dismantling of the Rheinland Military apparatus and overthrowing of the fascist regime it enforces.
Secondary Objectives
The continual hinderance of operations belonging to Rheinland and foreign corporations that knowingly work against the workers' interest and self determination;
Protection of Rheinland civilians against outside threats and encouragement to join the revolutionary movement.
In terms of tech, the Front relies only on hessian and civilian equipment. For the shipline, although Command heavily suggests and encourages the sole use of the modern Hessian-made Asgard line, other civilian, black-market or the old iconic border-worlds series lines are not forbidden. The following list is non-exhaustive, as given special circumstances, a number of special registered ships(//to be created) might be employed in the Front's operations.
Capital Ships
RH-D1 "Jormungand" Red Hessian Battleship
Designed to be a breakthrough assault vessel, it is the heaviest ship in the Hessian arsenal and was modelled closely after the Bismarck class battleship used by the Rheinland Military. Hessian engineers used the excess power provided by the ship's large industrial grade fusion reactors to power a massive cannon built straight into its hull: the Ragnarok.
RH-GM482 "Vidar" Red Hessian Cruiser
A larger rendition of the Red Hessian manufactured Hel-class cruiser, the Vidar is bigger, meaner, and tougher. With some semblance to the characteristics of the Hel, this ship exercises proficiency in hit-and-run strategies with its rather compact size and slim profiles. However, due to its internal-module constraints the offensive capabilities are hindered, with only a dozen turret arrays and a smaller reactor at the Vidar's disposal.
RH-U-CC461 "Hel" Cruiser
The Hel was co-designed with the aid of Unioner engineers, the ship was heavily influenced by the Hessian input throughout all the stages of development. As intergroup cooperation has not withstood the test of time, the ship's schematics have become widely spread on the Rheinland black-market and beyond. Although a Hessian ship by design, Hel's frame sees extended use by any criminal group in the region that requires a reliable, durable and potent cruiser in its arsenal.
Gunboats and Frigates
RH-GM114 "Heimdall" Red Hessian Gunboat
The ship was designed to operate with full efficiency inside the rocky environments of the Hessian controlled parts of the Omega border worlds, all the while maintaining a superior offensive and support capability. The gunboat has become a staple for the Hessian raiders who seek to chase the daring transports who venture into their turf.
"Grendel" Rheinland Blackmarket Frigate
The go to ship for Hessian raids on corporate operations across the Omeags. With its decent cargo hold, simple design and construction with emphasis on combat performance have lead to an increasing demand for these vessels with many believing to be the best in its class.
Ceres Innovations 100T "Scarab" Civilian Armored Transport
The ship's unassuming and almost simple design is an intentional lure, deluding many into thinking that the Scarab cannot fight back. This ship is a great choice for Hessian raiders who want to keep the element of surprise by not alerting their pray's long range scanners to a potentially dangerous ship.
Canarian ZC-410 "Peregrine" Civilian Frigate
Another choice of ship for Hessians looking to bring valuables back to Vogtland. Unlike the other choice of frigates, the zoner Peregrine is best suited for open space areas, being larger sized armed and armored transport while offering less cargo space than transports of a similar size, the ships excels with its firepower and maneuverability.
Freighters and snubs
Red Hessian Asgard line
RH-GM17 "Loki Mk. II" Red Hessian Heavy Fighter
RH-GM42 "Odin Mk. II" Red Hessian Very Heavy Fighter
RH-GM82 "Thor Mk II" Red Hessian Bomber
Old Asgard Blackmarket line
GM07 "Loki Mk. I" Rheinland Black Market Heavy Fighter
GM08 "Odin Mk. I" Rheinland Black Market Very Heavy Fighter
GM09 "Thor Mk. I" Rheinland Black Market Bomber
Border Worlds Series line
Series Y "Stiletto" Border Worlds Heavy Fighter
Series Z "Sabre" Border Worlds Very Heavy Fighter
Series V "Cutlass" Border Worlds Bomber
GM07 "Series D "Dromedary" Border Worlds Freighter
A staple ship for the Hessian movement, the venerable Hegemon has been in their service ever since the Dresden workers decided to turn on their masters. The ship has changed very little over decades, with old ones still being refurbished and new ones being produced on Vogtland.
CTP-H "Cyclone" Coalition Heavy Transport
Abiding by the Coalition government's directive to minimize material costs while maximizing ease of maintenance and modularity, the Cyclone is little more than two rows of pressurized cargo containers wrapped in several layers of thick but inexpensive steel plating. These ships are easily obtained by the Hessians from their Coalition comrades on the Aralsk manufacturing point.
Series DL Border Worlds Transport
Built to endure and thrive in the harshness of the frontier, the DL series borderworld transport thrives in the corners of space where the safe delivery of essential supplies can spell the difference between life and death. Heavily armed and armored with a generous cargo bay, the commonly sold craft holds a softspot in the hearts of Vogtland's haulers.
Series DL-X Border Worlds Train
Based on the proven hull of the Series DL, the Series DL-X was built to serve organizational logistics with greater capacity, reinforced armor, and additional defense turret mounts. It's not pretty and it's not versatile, but it's a reliable long-distance hauler catering specifically to those who live outside of corporate infrastructure.
TTR-1130 Series Pilgrim Liner
The only viable choice of a liner for the Hessians, the Pilgrim makes the ideal ship for workers transportation and a reliable platform for small-scale spaceborne fabrications thanks to its vast holds, massive life support systems and robust armories.
The Front remains steadfast in its commitment to the broader Hessian movement's principles of diplomacy and relations. However, we are not overtly averse in considering cooperation with traditionally unconventional groups, all based on the pragmatic approach of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Bundschuh
Rheinland anti-imperialist organization and a good stepping stone for its members in the right direction. Although providing much needed access to the black-market for us so far, only the most hardline elements of the group will be allowed to operate after the revolution.
The Platform
A sizeable cell within the Bundschuh movement with more anarchist elements. Currently they supply us with H-fuel in exchange for access to Wolfsburg for capital ship maintenance. Their flotilla could provide a good distraction for the Military to not attack Dresden anytime soon.
Junkers
Smugglers, dealers and salvagers, their effectiveness to deliver commodities in and, most importantly, from the most distant corners of Sirius makes them good business partners.
IMG
Independent miners who seek their own interests, putting the well-being of its members first. We continue to have good relations with them and coordinate where possible.
Task Force Prometheus
Remnants of the liberty legionnaires. Although they can offer little to us at present time, they have shown great potential in fencing goods. Future military and trade cooperation seems likely.
AWES/Interspace Commerce
Liberty corporation that used to help our cause with donations in supplies, credits and intel alike. After their ban and subsequent reinstatement in Rheinland, the partnership has cooled down between us but they still occasionally provide help and access to their station on Bonn. Avoid the piracy or sabotage of their operations.
GMG
The sigma gas miners have long been a thorn on the side of Rheinland expansionism into the area. The Front has established bilateral agreements with the guild looking to deter future threats against Vogtland by the Kaiserreich.

The Order
Secretive organization that occasionally provides the hessians with intel on the alien thrall kidnappers and combat assistance against the Core. They have also been spotted numerous times at the side of the Corsairs and rumor is they had a close alliance in the past. To be kept away from engaging them unless actively helping the savages of Crete.

LWB
They betrayed the workers of Rheinland to serve a foreign interest, barred us from using their stations and worse, opened fire on hessian ships. They are not our friends and should be kept under a watchful eye. If caught in Dresden, standard procedure will be applied with termination allowance within the Giftnebel, avoid interaction elsewhere.
Outcasts
Although the greatest threat to that Cretan imperio, the Maltese propensity to engage in backstabbing schemes and open hostility towards our comrades in the Coalition leave us little chance at cooperation.
Gaians
These pests are not out rightly hostile to us but their incursions seen into the Omegas alongside the Corsairs means little tolerance towards them. To be dealt on a case by case basis, kept at bay at best and shot on sight at worst depending on the situation.
Other House Corpos
Most, if not all, are profit first greedy mega-corps, pirate at will if they encroach into Rheinland or the Omegas.
Other House Lawfuls
They likely classify us as hostiles, entertain their presence by shooting them into the void of space if they trespass our turf.
Hostile

Corsairs
A blood feud. Ever since they emerged from the deep Omegas we have been locked for generations in a stalemate with these vultures for territorial claims. There will be no change in Rheinland until we can close this ancient front.
Rheinland Lawfuls
The enforcement apparatus of the fascist state of Rheinland. They will be washed away by the tides of revolution.
Rheinland Corpos
Competing for some of the worst working conditions and pay in Sirius, their assets must be dismantled or repurposed for our cause.
Bretonia Lawfuls
We do not come in contact with them often but their decrepit socio-political system is akin to the one at home.
Unioners
Our ideological rivals in the revolution, although we have cooperated in the past, that is no longer the case. They have recently fully sided with the Corsairs and moreover block our expansion in Northern Rheinland
BHG
They come for our head and we in turn come for theirs. Some of them are deserters of the Revolution who will face the wall.
Core
Greedy militarized corporation that puts their own wealth above anything else. Engage them at your own discretion.
Aliens
If it's not human or human-made it probably doesn't want your wellbeing, shoot on sight.
Wild
Alien's thralls who are known for the kidnappings of our pilots, put them out of their misery.
The birthplace of the movement, and its infrastructure, was for a short time under total Hessian control. Now, much of the system lies in ruins in the wake of the military invasion, with the Hessians still clinging to their home system with fierce stubbornness. Their main hub on Vogtland is now especially well-defended, with minefields and regular patrols that will spell destruction for any unwanted vessels entering the Giftnebel's perimeter. Although the military still keeps regular patrols around the New Berlin Gate, they are far from attempting another takeover of the system after the destruction of the Strausberg and the subsequent public outrage over the Kaiser's resounding failure.
Despite this, the Hessians are far from having a secure home, as Corsair raids have wreaked havoc on their mining operations in the Schwefelnebel and Innenstadfeld over the past two years. Now, sensing a decline in Corsair ships, the revitalized Hessian patrols from Vogtland search the fields to drive out the Cretan scourge.
Rheinland systems
Much of the current Hessian Front's assets are concentrated in the Omegas, leaving little action within the main systems of Rheinland, apart from occasional targets of opportunity or carefully planned operations with specific objectives. While it is possible to encounter Rotfront Hessians in these areas, the majority of their raiding activities take place in the less secure border worlds.
Omega-11
A very important crossroads for the Hessians, it houses their Freital Station, a key logistics and forward secondary combat hub from which most combat and supply vessels are dispatched into the deeper Omegas. Although the system has been under regular Rheinland exploitation for over 400 years, it is still rich in diamonds due to the hazardous nature of its red star. The system hosts a significant Daumann presence, conducting diamond extraction and shipping operations, which the Hessians regularly raid, bringing the spoils back to Freital. Some of our own might attempt to exploit the fields themselves, but in recent times, diamond extraction has been outsourced to the Independent Miners Guild, who pay the Hessians for protection.
Omega-7, Omega-3, Cambridge
The great highway between Rheinland and Bretonia has been the traditional raiding ground of the Hessians ever since Ronneburg was established in Omega-5 in 724 A.S. These border worlds have a relatively low presence of lawful patrols, as the two great houses have historically maintained a friendly relationship. Additionally, the Hessians take advantage of the conveniently placed neutral ports, such as Freeport 1 in Omega-3 and Ithaca in Omega-7. Recently, with the support of the Mollys, who agreed to resupply them at Lisburn Rock, the Hessian Front has extended its patrols into Cambridge to target Corsair smugglers departing from Cadiz.
Omega-41
The key system from which the Corsair Imperio expands and resupplies into the Omegas and further into Rheinland and Bretonia alike, the Hessians have now decided to move against them here under a full fledged offensive. Spearheaded by Battleship Zuschen who has positioned itself within the chokepoint system, the Hessians have begun launching fierce attacks in an attempting to cut their enemies supply lines and draw them out of Dresden by force. Although the radiation levels take a heavy toll on both sides, the constant raids from Zuschen will continue until their goal is achieved.
Omega-48, Omega-52
With the fall of Viernheim station to the Corsairs and subsequent collapse in economic benefit for the Planet Tangier, the Hessians have withdrawn most of their forces from Omega-48 back into Omega-5 and 11. Although some of our patrols still extend to this system, they are mostly support groups for our Coalitions allies which entrenched themselves in the system given the link proximity to their home system. Although Hessians have no military influence in Omega-52, ships can be seen traversing through the system either coordinating attacks with the Coalition or just to trade.
Koln, Zurich
Koln was for a while in full Hessian control, singlehandedly driving both the Military and the Bounty Hunters Guild out of the system. Although with the unification of Rhineland that is no longer the case, the workers of Dresden have set their eyes back on the system, not to control it but to exploit its traffic. With the latest economic developments between Gallia and Rheinland, the Hessians sense a great opportunity in both of these systems, not only to stall a more rapid recovery of the Kaiserreich but also to profit from it themselves. Despite this, operations here are significantly more difficult compared to the Bretonian highway, not only do Hessians to deal with military patrols of both houses, but they also have to account for the fierce competition coming from the substantial presence of Unioners in both Koln and Zurich.
Omega-5
After 100 years of war within the system, it still stands at a bloody stalemate. Omega-5 is an important region of space for the Hessians in the fight against the Cretan menace, not only to keep them at bay but also as an easy access way to the upper Omegas and Bretonia. The Front was established in the first place to operate mainly in this area, with the end goal to break the Corsairs and push them back into Omega-41, cutting them off of their resources in Bretonia
Omicron Theta, Omicron Gamma
Omicron Theta and Gamma do not have much to offer to our cause but they are used as grounds to engage the Corsairs and potentially Core in special designated raids.
Omega-55
Omega-55 did present great deal of interest for the Hessians in the past but that has changed with the sudden Pulse throwing the system off our maps and with only a single unstable hole giving us access to it. That being said, occasional research vessels of the Front frequent the system to establish the potential of Planet Wiesbaden in housing a self sustaining Hessian colony and take some pressure off of the overburdened Vogtland. The system will be kept under careful watch until possible realignment in the jump holes linkage shifts more favorably to us.
Vespucci
Vespucci is a far away system with no interest for the Hessians currently. Recon ships are sent there occasionally to scout the system for potential gain.
Omega-58
Not much is known about Omega-58 to us, the sudden rift opened to it from Omega-41 has seen some of our fighter patrols enter and never return. Pilots are advised to avoid the system until further notice.
