my name is Renate Bommel and I'm part of ze Oberrat of ze Kaiserreichspolizei in Rheinland.
I'm contacting you in a matter of economic importance.
Ever since ze last shortage of silver, ze Rheinland Polizei noticed an increased demand of omega resources wizin ze markets in ze empire. I encourage Rheinland miners to increase zeir production for zeir own benefit, but I fear zat even wiz doubling your current activity in zat system, you won't be able to satisfy ze demand. I'm contacting you on a possible solution:
Ze Rheinland Polizei is aware of ze competition each corporation is currently facing, but we would like to open up ze mining rights of Omega-7 to non-Rheinland corporations. Of course we understand how protective we have to stay in regards to (our rightfully claimed) resources. Ze basic idea is to hand out mining rights to indepedent and bretonia miners, while ze main share of such a fee would be used to compensate Daumann and Kruger. Ze Rheinland corporations in return, accept zis payment as agreement according to §3.2.4. Zis would be in line wiz ze current Rheinland first! agenda.
If you are willing to consider zis offer, ze Rheinland Polizei could act as trustee between Rheinland and leery corporations. I would send out an Oberstabsmeister of ze Grenzschutzgarde to ze Elbe border fortress wiz ze sole task to strengzen our presence in zat system, while administering zat proposal.
Please see zis communique as an open dialog between ze corporations interests and law-enforcement duties.

Frau Bommel, i have been instructed to forward the following message from our legal counsel;
Quote:Daumann Heavy Construction categorically objects to any incursion, exploitation, profiting or collection of our mining field(s) in Omega-7. We will uphold our legal claim to such areas, in perpetuity. Any license or permission granted for exploitation of these resources are to be negotiated with us or Kruger Mineralen. We find it rather distasteful that you suggest opening up permits to foreign corporations known to illegally operating in these fields already, whilst attacking our pilots.
We also dislike the polizei trying to meddle in the private market. I can assure you that we, and Kruger Mineralen are perfectly capable of meeting any demand if given prior request to increase capacity. If the polizei feel they need to secure more silver for the market, perhaps securing all the stolen silver from thieving foreign corporations would help alleviate the lack of silver ore.
